Works great, but the speed may not be as good on some drives. The RPM and drive controller have a lot to say about how fast this will transfer data. I have several drives that are very very fast, and some older ones that are more like CD transfer speeds. I still love it.

Purchased this product quite some time ago in case i ever needed one, well i did recently, plugged it into my hard drive via the provided external power supply and it literally killed by hard drive, smoke starting puoring from the pcb board on the drive.

I had an old adapter like this one that was USB 2 and that was way too slow for wiping old HDDs. This one cut the wipe time down considerably. So far it's working well and I ran several 500GB drive wipes over a few days.

Worked for me. Saved a lot of pictures that would have been lost.

Supper cheap don’t waste your money. Incredibly low quality the power connector would not easily connect. Incredibly hard to use and very impractical. Lose connections made everything come undone continuously, and unexpectedly.

Needed to clone an internal SSD drive to a bigger SATA drive and this worked great. Connected cables to drive then the drive to the computers USB port and ran the clone software and in under an hour I had a new primary system drive that was now 4 times larger so I won't run out of space on drive "C" anytime soon.

I've gotten 4 or 5 over time. AC power can't last very long. Have to look for something better.

Killed my dvd drive, after a bit of use

I used it for an IDE harddrive which was being used more than 2 decades ago. It worked perfectly speed was also pretty good. I Didn't have it plugged with the right side up initially so it didn't work because of that and I was about to return it but it's actually alright. The built quality is of course not great the outer cover of the IDE port actually came off while I was plugging it in but it didn't affect the functionality. This is the cheapest option to copy old 3.5" ide HDDs and it also works with 2.5" IDE and sata drives. Power cables are included the plug for the wall socket is European/Indian cables are long enough.

Bad, Don't buy. I ordered this and received the product. it is not working. After connecting it to the IDE hard disk and the USB port of my computer, the hard disk was not detected. I checked the output voltage from the 230V to 5V/12V adapter, and there was no output at all. It seems the adapter is faulty. When I shake it, I can hear something loose inside (possibly a screw or component that has fallen off). Additionally, the power cord supplied has no earth pin, which is unsafe. This has caused a delay in my project and resulted in wasted time and money.

Good Product, value For money it support for all devices

The product is very good and working fine. I have checked it with my 3.5" hdd IDE and with 2.5" hdd SATA. All the cables are working fine. Very useful for old unused Hard disk to work as external hdd. Main box covering all the item was not in good condition. Need to improve it.
