I've gotten 3 of these filters now, and continue to only buy this one. When I was living in Mexico, my water smelled so strongly of bleach, it burned my eyes and I could hardly stand to be in my shower. This filter solved that immediately. Then, when I moved to Bali (which is notorious for hard water with tons of minerals that cake onto your skin and hair, making it dry and brittle, and where lots of people complain about their hair falling out), I installed this shower filter. Without the filter, after every shower I took, dry powdery white patches would cake onto my shower walls and everything I kept in the shower, and it was super hard to clean off. If it was that hard to remove from my shower, imagine how hard it would be to remove it from my hair. After installing the filter, this immediately stopped. So I have the confidence that whatever that crap was in the water, if it's no longer getting on my stuff in my shower, that means it's not getting on my hair. Bonus: Attractive looking product that's very easy to install. After buying it, I kept it in the box for months (don't judge lol), overwhelmed about the installation process, waiting until I could find someone else to install it for me, then when I was finally fed up with the awful water, I opened the box, read the instructions, and installed it literally in 3 minutes--with no tools, lol.

I have tried several shower filters from amazon and some of them made me itch terribly. For a while, I settled for a chrome cylinder shaped one that worked well enough but definitely did not match my oil rubbed bronze hardware. I decided to check again (a year later) and have now found this beauty. It provides good water softening for my fragile hair and I still get excellent water pressure. I know there are other's out there that may be less expensive but I feel like this one is good quality and was shipped from a family owned business from my home town of Houston, TX. I always like to support small businesses whenever possible. I got a little carried away with the Teflon tape which I will fix once I have to change the filter but other than that I think it looks beautiful in my shower. I am now back to order a second one to go above the inset square rain shower head. Currently it has a chrome one too. Can't wait to get the new one installed. Thanks for a great product.

Amazing!! The town I live in has not fixed the water softener & it's been down for months. My hair & skin have been dry. Bought this filter and wow!!! Immediately could tell a difference with my hair, zero chemical smell from the city water and just getting my hair wet, it was Immediately smooth & soft!!! I hadn't applied any hair products yet. Truly grateful that my sister recommended the filter. Our Mom is going to buy also, she's impressed at how soft my hair is and no more chemical smells!!

Product does exactly what is is supposed to do. I have well water and it helps tremendously.

I have been having so many skin problems for about a year...rashes, psoriasis, eczema, etc. I have tried everything! I went for a dermatologist and only got some steroid cream (which did not help much). I finally decided to buy a shower filter, because I thought, “it can’t hurt, right?!“ Installation was SO easy, but I was not expecting much of a change to my skin. Like I said, I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING! While in the shower, all that I noticed was that the water smelled a little different. When I got out of the shower, I just continued to say “WOW!!” I basically texted everyone I knew about this shower filter. What was this feeling I felt?? Hydration?! My skin had not felt so naturally hydrated in so long, I had forgotten what it felt like. I immediately bought a second filter for my mother, who has also had trouble with her skin. I have had the shower filter for about one week now. My skin has gone through an adjustment period. For the first couple of days the skin on my face was excessively oily, but it seems to be less oily each day. I really like this shower filter!

I’ve purchased several of these and at first thought they were pretty great as they did help soften the water which made my skin less itchy. I have hard water. The problem is the unit itself. The first one could not be unscrewed as to replace the filter and the second one started leaking one day, randomly, which caused water to spray all over the outside of the shower making a watery puddle on the carpet outside of the shower. I’m pretty displeased and will be looking for another brand.

Product was easy to install. Pipe Tape was included. Make sure to flush the filter before attaching shower head. Haven’t been able to tell if water is softer yet. It’s a bit large. Looks as pictured. Will have to take everything a loose to change cartridge.

Living in central Florida often means the water is full of minerals. Most people I know have a whole house water softener. They are great but only if you buy the really expensive setup. I have the average run of the mill unit. That means I still get the red mineral ring in the guest room toilet unless I flush the toilet every other day or use a toilet disinfectant. So the shower still dries out my skin. But, using this filer, that all disappears. I love it as you use less soaps and your hair and body rinse clean. No feeling like you’re still soaped up. I have turned on several people to these shower filters. I have tried a few different brands but I always come back to Aqua. It seems much better than the others. I highly recommend this filter. I think you’ll be hooked if you buy it.

The seller does not offer cartridge replacement for purchase, I cannot find any cartridge that fit this specific case on Amazon either so I wouldn’t recommend this model

Easy to install. Great filter. Soft skin and hair. Feels good to know water is filtered and fresh!! Say goodbye to dry itchy skin. I will never go back to regular showers 😃
