Tastes sour but fine, just very thick.** A: It’s fermented. So, “going bad” whilst in the refrigerator of past due date means more fermented, unless eons past due date and fermented bacteria had nothing to feed on and died. By then it’d smell terrible and most likely have a crust of mold on it- like moldy fruit. **Q: Can someone explain how this can be a 6-24 day supply? Aren't there only 6 containers per case?** A: Because you need only a small amount of the probiotic a day. So a bottle last you for 4 to 5 days. **Q: Does this have to be refrigerated right away when it gets delivered? I’m out of town** A: My Bio-K Plus was delivered today in the hot Florida weather with no refrigeration or ice pack. I was at the door to take delivery of a hot box of Bio-K Plus. I call Amazon Customer Service immediately. They refunded me. The Amazon shipping box had no markings to keep refrigerated. I recommend DO NOT PURCHASE BIO-K plus FROM AMAZON. I have issues with my stomach and struggle a bit. These are my go-to for any issues from food poisoning to heart-burn. They’re amazing and work quickly.I found them when we ended up in a Whole Foods desperate for something to help my husbands horrible stomach pain and diarrhea. The lady told us Bio-K shots and charcoal pills. She was right on. He started getting relief quickly and took one a day for that entire week and it helped tremendously. Since then I keep them around the house. I try to take 2 a week when I’m not having an issue. When I am I take one a day for a week to get me squared away. These are AMAZING!! The next time you’re having stomach issues give them a try, or just keep them around for better gut health.By the way, the mango flavor is my favorite. None of them taste awesome but you use them for the benefits not the taste. It’s a unsweetened yogurt like taste but shot glass sized so any body can endure if you are sensitive with that sort of thing. It has not been available on Amazon in the liquid form since I purchase it so I have to go to Whole Foods for it now. I was advised to use a 6 pack as directed then take a break from it and use it again in a month or two. This has made it easier to justify the price. I drink it before my 1st glass of water on an empty stomach.
