I really like the appearance of this handle replacement and didn't have a hard time installing it. However, ~4 months after installation, it shattered on an external part when opening my door. I'm very gentle with my car so it really speaks to the quality of the plastic.

plagued by the broken door handle curse. If one day your door won't open from the outside but still does with the indoor latch it's likely the center plastic assembly (highly likely) just broke or the inner arm with the rod (rod is metal, that's usually fine) did. This would solve that. I bought a different one a few years ago for the passenger and this is certainly smoother than that one. The quality is better for sure. The other brand works still but is a little more finicky and squeaks once in a while. This is smoother and feels more heavier with the materials. Installation is quick enough - just pop off the 2 rubber plugs in the inner door side, take out the 2 10mm bolts (don't drop them so either use a magnetic grabber or the rolled paper tube trick), lift it a little up and slide out enough to unbolt the lock cylinder and remove the other rod. reverse steps and done. It is already lubed and has the gasket on already so ready to go.

I believed I was getting a pair of door handles because that’s what is says and that’s what the picture shows I received one handle the drivers side only what I need is the passengers side so I’m not happy at all
