This does have the dlc stainless steel case under the rubber. It’s the exact same watch as the 5000, the 5000U has an upgraded module with a better backlight and some other new features too

I have an 8" (210mm) wrist circumference, so I need a watch that will be 8-1/4" (220mm) in total length to fit comfortably. Will this fit?

I have approx. 7" wrist and wear the watch with the pin in the 6th hole. This leaves it a little loose around the wrist with approx. 2.5" of strap remaining after the 6th hole. The watch is 9.5" from tip of one end to the other. Hope this helps.

What is the difference between the gw-m5610ubc-1jf and the gw-5000u-1jf?

Looks like the gw-m5610ubc-1jf has a bracelet, reverse display, and lacks the screw down back.
