Amazing little amp
I absolutely love this amp. If this amp is indicative of the quality they put out, then Donner is an underrated brand. I had tried the Orange Crush mini and hated the sound and lack of functions. I returned that and for about $20 more got the Donner. I love the different amp models with the PV51 being my favorite as I'm mostly using the amp with distortion. The amp has volume, tone and gain which allows me to tweak my sounds and dial in a sound that I like. The clean sounds are also good. The drum machine sound could be better but it's just a little something to play along with. I don't really bother with it because I simply pair it with my phone using the Bluetooth option and I play along with my favorite songs or backing tracks. The tuner is also a useful option. The unit seems to be sturdy and well made and I love the look of it. At this time, I can't think of any negatives and at the price point, this is a great deal. For playing in my room, this is perfect. I haven't used it for recording but I believe you could plug into your work station and get a pretty good sound using it as an interface. Great sound quality and very portable. I'm using it plugged in but with the option to use batteries, you can't go wrong. For my purposes, it's an amazing little amp.

Donner Cyclops 5W Mini Electric Guitar Amplifier – Compact & Versatile for Practice;
The Donner Cyclops 5W Mini Electric Guitar Amplifier is a fantastic choice for guitarists looking for a portable, feature-packed practice amp. Despite its small size, it delivers surprisingly versatile tones with 7 preset amp modes, allowing players to explore everything from clean blues to heavy distortion. The gain and volume controls offer decent flexibility, making it great for different playing styles. One standout feature is the built-in drum machine with 40 drum patterns, which adds an interactive and rhythmic element to practice sessions. The three built-in effects (likely delay, chorus, and reverb) further enhance sound customization. Additionally, the Bluetooth audio function makes it easy to play along with backing tracks or stream music. Powering options are convenient—DC 9V, 6x AA batteries, or USB 5V, making it truly portable for home, travel, or outdoor jam sessions. While it’s not built for gigging, the sound quality and features are excellent for personal practice. For the price, this amp is a solid buy for beginners and experienced players alike. 🎸🔊🔥

Is this the best mini amp on the market ? !
I’m going to be honest, I didn’t have high expectations for this. Surprisingly enough, this thing is very warm and full sounding. I’ve tried a bunch of the other mini amps on the market and this one absolutely blows the rest out of the water in terms of sound quality. It simply just doesn’t sound like a mini amp. It almost sounds like it could be like a 5watt tube amp. The construction seams solid for what it is (hard plastic) The drum machine is really nice to have. You don’t see drum machines on any other amp in this price range that I know of. It includes a good variety of beats and the bpm is fully adjustable on the fly. The drum sounds themself as you’d expect aren’t going to sound exactly like real drums but it’s just meant for practice anyway so who cares. Now the effects are really the icing on the cake here. The chorus sounds unique because it almost sounds like a doubling effect in a way more then a chorus. The tremolo is cool and works nicely. The delay types are very pretty sounding. The reverb could be super ambient or it could be subtle if you want but overall sounds really good. The different amp types don’t take long to dial in a good tone. The distortion amps sound REALLY good as long as you don’t have the gain cranked ALL the way. Finally, the Bluetooth connectivity really just makes this thing unbeatable. You can literally play along with your favorite songs or noodle random things over them and it sits so nicely in the mix. I’d definitely recommend this. I don’t normally write reviews for things but I had to go out of my way to make this one. I’ll eventually make a YouTube video demonstrating this since there aren’t any.

Excellent quality for price
It's a solid little modeling amp. The models chosen are essentially a who's-who of iconic amp formats, so the characteristics are nice. The sound quality's decent for most basic uses, so for a simple practice amp you can put in your apartment without having to fight the neighbors? Brilliant. Only downsides I can give you: - No cable output. If you want to push it to recording, you're going to have to mic it. There's no direct entry for your audio interface. - The models don't seem to handle breakup. So pushing gain or volume particularly hard in any given model isn't that impactful. Some of the really useful character in the source amps is based on what happens when you push them and the model doesn't really reflect that. Overall, though, they're good sounding and if you want more character or effect, the onboard effects are reasonable, and you can gladly add any external pedals you want.

Swiss army knife of amps
This is a practice app, but it’s got a lot of features that a lot of the other small mini amps don’t have including reverb hall reverb and plate. It’s got a drum machine that you can 40 different styles of drums is got delay, Tremelo tone gain and seven different amp models Bluetooth so you can use your phone to play a backing track through the speaker and play along with it at the same time with your electric guitar

good amp, breaks
I bought one in June, it arrived non-functional. I returned it for a replacement, which worked for about a week. Then the amp selector started malfunctioning, only working on 3 amp models. Amazon does not give an option for a second replacement, only a refund. I emailed Donner twice and have received no response. Return deadline is in 4 days. I really liked it when it worked. When it worked: The amp sims are fair, the 5150, mesa boogie and fender amps sound pretty good. The effects sound pretty good. It would be cool if it had presets. The drums sound alright but the controls are awkward. Overall it's worth the money. I can still return it and just order a 3rd one but I would like Donner to know they have a good product that is worth buying if they can work out quality control issues. Please respond!

So many features, such a big sound, such a compact size
I don’t know where to start. It’s a great practice amp with emulation for many different sounds. I actually run my bass through it and it sounds great! There’s delay, which I can use to run my keyboard or guitar though without having to buy a delay pedal. It has a drum machine. It takes batteries and it plays backing tracks via blue tooth. You can basically practice over a backing track on your porch or it’s great for busking. And it has a 1/8 output into a PA or mixer. It charges via two different cables including a round 9v guitar pedal type prong. Other units will have their usb break or work itself loose and then it’s a brick. And it just looks aesthetic on a bookshelf, with its slanted almost vintage design.

You can power it with USB-C!
The sound is pretty good for its price, it's portable and really small. The drum and effects are also a nice plus. My favorite feature is that it's battery powered by 6 AA batteries that last for a long time, but you can also power it by USB-C! It's my favorite amp to travel with.

What a cool toy amp!
I've been looking for a small cool looking portable amp mainly for quiet noodling or around the campfire for my acoustics, but after playing with this thing this weekend I am impressed. It is a plastic toy amp, but stands alone. It has it all from a built in tuner, usable effects and amp modelling, 40 drum patterns all tap adjustable to blue tooth capability and portable enough to run on 6 AA batteries or adapter provided. It handled my acoustic, electric and even bass well. The sound is decent when connected to blue tooth to play music thru too, another campfire plus. It's not a 4x12...but it is well worth the $ and is a super fun toy for all levels of players.

Cool Guitar Amp
I’m amazed with the effects. Not too rough but still get the punch. Light weight, put in a back pack and jam everywhere (more suitable for indoor). The static / buzzing sound is not too loud. Like the option of having battery compartment. I’m using it to listen to music with my phone as well. I hope this amp will last.

Fun and versatile
Product arrived before expected date. I use with an electric ukulele. Sound quality is very good, no hum or buzz. Good selection of amp simulations and sound effects that I spend way too much time playing with. Has surprising volume for a small unit. Reasonable battery life and comes complete with an ac adapter. Bluetooth connection is handy. Drum tracks are fun for the most part, many are just annoying. (That could just be an age thing ). And the headphone jack keeps peace in the household. A handle of some kind would be nice. All in all I feel it is a good value.

Great little amp
I live in a condo, so I can’t really play my guitar with the big amp. I have had mini amps before, but they were so bad. The sounds were either too dirty, too noisy, or distorted (even in clean mode). Also, many of them had no effects at all or Bluetooth connection. I came across this Donner amp and decided to give it a try. It has many effects (chorus, reverb, and delay). I’m not going to lie; the effects are okay. They clearly aren’t the same as a Marshall Code or using individual pedals. However, it’s very handy to have the option to add chorus and reverb. The clean tone is amazing. It also offers many different amp options (Roland, Vox, etc.). Overall, for practicing in a small place, it’s great. I purposely recorded this video with a cheap guitar so you can hear how the amp sounds. It does a quite good job. 100% I would recommend this amp over a mini Marshall or a Fender Mini.

Qualité moyenne lorsqu'une guitare est connectée
L'amplificateur génère du hum assez fort quand on connecte la guitare. Un peu trop fort à mon avis. La qualité du son pour le bluetooth fonctionne bien.
