I used a lightweight chain with an "S" shaped hook to attach the EZNectar feeder, and hang it from a hook already attached to my porch's roof, at a suitable height. In less than an hour, I had several hummers fighting over this feeder. I had never seen so many hummers at one time, even though my other feeder had four openings, and this has only one. I ended up putting three feeders up at one time and we really enjoyed the show these little hummers put on for us. I had my old feeder up at the same time and they preferred the EZNectar feeder. I can only assume they like the taste better!
