I felt compelled to write a review after coming across some negative zero star reviews on this and other EZNectar products. I'm baffled at the negative reviews. I hesitated to buy this three pack of disposable feeders not knowing how well they would work, but there was a sale price that was low enough for me to give it a go. I already had a typical glass and plastic feeder that would see one hummingbird every so often, if I was lucky. I think the problem is that there are no trees in my yard, so the birds are hesitant to venture to my porch. They like the protection of a nearby tree, so they can flit back and forth. I used a lightweight chain with an "S" shaped hook to attach the EZNectar feeder, and hang it from a hook already attached to my porch's roof, at a suitable height. In less than an hour, I had several hummers fighting over this feeder. I had never seen so many hummers at one time, even though my other feeder had four openings, and this has only one. I ended up putting three feeders up at one time and we really enjoyed the show these little hummers put on for us. I had my old feeder up at the same time and they preferred the EZNectar feeder. I can only assume they like the taste better!

love this product....the humming birds in AZ love them and the bees don't come around....Its GREAT and very entertaining for us...A little expensive

We are getting so many hummingbirds in our tiny backyard now! They really love this stuff. There aren't many flowers in bloom during the winter months here in Seattle, this may be their only source of nectar in my neighborhood currently. Even so, each one lasts about 3 weeks to a month for us, with many many hungry visitors all day. There is one hovering in front of it as I type this :) Definitely worth the price!

This has to be the best hummingbird nectar on the market. I did notice the price has gone way, way up. As good as the nectar is, I will stop buying it if the price goes above what I have been paying for it.

The potential appeal of this product is clear. However, this is not good value for money compared to other feeding methods. Mix your own boiled water with cane sugar (for easy mixing and sanitization) using 1 part sugar to 4 parts water for pennies after purchasing an inexpensive feeder. Concerns: These feeders have one straw. You will likely have numerous birds fighting for this one access point. These type feeders are reported to spill a bit in high winds or if you're not careful setting them out. They don't appear to have ant traps so you might have more ants than hummingbirds. They produce waste materials to be thrown out. If you want the convenience of a prepackaged feeder, i.e., travelling, camping and visiting a location hummingbirds are and a normal feeder is not practical these might work. Or, let's face it, if you are too work-shy to mix your own this product is an alternative. Unfortunately you cannot test package ingredients for bird safety so the seller's advertising must be accepted. Additionally, red dyes added to commercial nectar do nothing to attract hummingbirds and some suggest these have long-term harmful effects to the birds. Summary: These might be convenient in certain situations. We will carry them for travel. At home we will continue, as we have for years, to feed our hummingbird visitors simple cane sugar mixed with boiled water in a multi-straw feeder. No dyes, no waste materials. The birds come back each spring as they have for the last 20 years.

We love this juice box for hummers! Easy to use and the birds love it!

I'm so disappointed with this purchase. I don't think you could design a worse design for a hanging hummingbird feeder if you tried. Getting it to balance without leaking all of the nectar is near impossible. There is nothing for the birds to perch on. The hanger couldn't be any cheaper or badly placed. It drips everywhere and I've yet to see a hummingbird near it. I seem to be feeding a ton of ants on my porch floor. I bought disposable bag feeders a couple of years ago and they were awesome. This was the closest I could come to those, but it's a poor substitute.

I give 5 stars because the nectar is by far the best. The hummers fight over the juice where other brands they won’t even approach. The feeder aspect however is meh. Go buy a feeder and buy their nectar in bulk.
