This is a decent product. I have tried a few products and this and Dr B___ are purer forms — without bad side effects. I found that with other purer products that the potency was not quite strong enough for maximum results. This product is 500mg at 40% extract potency. This computes to 200mg of the extract. The human tests are with pure extracts around 600mg. For me, I started with one capsule (200mg of actual extract) to check for side effects and purity. I am now at two capsules. I can definitely say it has positively affected my pain level and inflammation. I would recommend. Update 1/25/26. After testing other brands in an effort to find a purer product with less excipients at an resonable price, Swanson is still the winner. My goal was 600mg of Fucoidan extract. With Swanson (40%x500mg=200mg Fucoidan/capsule x 3caps=600mg extract = 1-1/2bottles $30). Dr Best (70%x300mg=210mg Fucoidan extract/capsule x 3caps=630mg extract = 1-11/2bottles $45) Pristine's Fucoidan = questionable white powder, no effect, should be dark tan for 85%claim, BestVite = 500mg x 85% but very pale colored and questionable extract % but no excipients. Bottom line, Swanson still wins our hard earned dollars for honesty and pricing.

You do not have to buy Fucoidan from Japan for $400/bottle. Fucoidan Sea Weed now could be planted in USA with price of $20/bottle and with same or better strength. Amazing news and product!
