Fit my Honda rebel 1100 perfectly and easy to install.

First the good fits fine, now the bad no instructions on how to mount them, not any decent online videos either. I used to mechanic and they werent terribile but they were a bit of a pain to install as when you pull a couple of the bolts, you have to use a floor jack to lift the engine up to recente the whole. Its easy enough but youve gotta figure it out first.

difficult to install - as there are ZERO instructions or drawings on how everything goes together. Two short videos are worthless - they just show what they look like already on bike! Just get a bag of bolts, nuts and spacers. Also, bars are painted well, enamel - but are very slippery. Cannot keep your feet on the top bar. I used some strips of non-skid adhesive paper to help feet in place.

For the price it's fantastic. Nice place to mount my auxiliary lights. And protect my bike if it falls. Couldn't be happier.

Absolute trash from china. No instructions. Wrapped in multiple different tapes so it looks used. Missing bolts. And bars are scratched so it IS used. Returned immediately and wouldn’t recommend

Installed these crash bars on my 2023 Honda Rebel 1100. Product came undamaged and wrapped good. Install wasn't hard as long as you have a basic understanding of hand tools. Took me about an hour from start to finish. Very sturdy and also a nice foot rest on highway use. Came with all hardware needed and fit my bike with no modification needed.

Welded products like this can be off a bit and add to that an installation to a welded frame and this can compound misalignment issues. You can almost plan on maybe having to file a hole to elongate it but then again some folks will be lucky and everthing will line up and go together lickity split. Another hint is to use a jack to lift the engine which will help with removal and reinsertion of the long bolts. A simple scissor jack like the one in the trunk of many cars will work. My main issue was the spacer on the left side of the upper bolt was too long because I believe the frame was ever so slightly spread during original assembly. The original spacer was really tight and had to be gently hammered out. I faced off about .020” and was able to pry things open enough to get everything together. Also had to elongate one of the holes 7mm as well. Once on I am impressed with the appearance and the finish. One of the main reasons these were purchased was the hope they would suffice for highway pegs and they are spot on for me (I have a 32” inseam). I am happy and would recommend these but would warn folks to understand that a perfect fit and plug and play installation may not be what you get.

Very happy with this purchase. Had to find a YouTube video to get clear enough instructions and installation was simple yet complicated at the same time. If we hadn’t watched the video we wouldn’t have had a clue where to start.

If this item had come with some instructions or links to a youtube video then I would have rated it a 5 with out doubt. It took me longer to find an install video (and not in the name of Baione) than it took for the item to arrive. The only other interesting item in the package was a chrome socket head bolt and washer. I have no idea what that is for. But the end result was great and exactly what I wanted - engine bars that will double as highway pegs.
