Review: Impressively rub-resistant, and still comes off clean - I wasn't too sure what I was getting when I ordered these at someone else's recommendation, but I am SUPER glad I did. They write great (fine, smooth, and varies with pressure so it looks like normal dynamic handwriting), erase very cleanly, and somehow they DO NOT erase from light brushes like normal dry erase markers do. I've got some things written with these on some stickers on my laptop, and I can *grab my laptop on the writing, pick it up and carry it around, over a dozen times for over a week* and there's no visible wear at all on the writing. It looks exactly like when I first wrote it. And it still erases cleanly with the eraser, or with intentional rubbing with anything else. Wonderful. Not what you want in all cases - easy erasing is what I want in like 2/3rds of my dry-erase-marker use. But when you want something sturdier, this is far better than I thought was possible.

**Q: Having left one uncapped for 45 minutes and recapped it moments ago. Will it recover?**
A: I had this happen as well. I wet it slightly with warm water and it recovered, but was not the same. Good luck.

**Q: Is there packaging?**
A: No retailer packaging available on this set, you will receive the 4 pens in a small plastic bag.

**Q: Can they be stored upside down or just horizontally?**
A: I have had no problem with them right side up, upside down or laying flat. Important to keep the cap on when not in use even for a minute. It will extend the life of the pen.

**Q: Are these made for dry erase boards? Do they erase like dry erase markers?**
A: Yes, they work on dry erase boards.  They don't erase like normal dry erase markers that smudge when touched.  You have to use either the eraser on the pen cap or something wet to erase it.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best on the market!

I'm constantly white boarding, and more and more these days using whiteboards to take notes, be it on my desk with whiteboard contact film, whiteboard notebooks, etc. I've tried various whiteboard pens which are fine-tipped - Expo, other off brands, etc. - but the Staedtler Lumocolor are hands down the best. Yes, like all fine tip dry erase, they dry out very fast when not using them, but they come back to life faster than the Expo markers do. Additionally, I've found that the Expo markers tend to "flatten out" faster, causing for a thicker writing area after repeated use - thus becoming more of a "medium tip" than a "fine tip." The Staedtler Lumocolor pens don't do this. My only complaint is once they dry, THEY DRY! If I wait longer than an hour, I have to use dry erase cleaner to remove the marker from the whiteboard. However, this can be a good thing - no accidental erasing... So it could be considered both a pro and a con.
