If my dog is 22 do I buy up to 22 or go to the second category 23 up?

I am in the same situation. I have found that the smaller dose is not effective. But the 23 and up does the trick.

Does it actually work ?

We've used this product in the past and it worked, and we live on a corner and have our dogs in the country and camping in wooded areas. If I remember correctly, it won't kill adult fleas, but prevents them from reproducing and I believe the nuts as well. If there's an infestation, or a source of fleas nearby, even a neighbor animal, that doesn't have the flea problem addressed, the flea cycle will continue.
