I LOVE these shorts! Extremely comfortable, stretchy fabric... Fit me perfectly. I normally wear denim shorts, have forever, but these have made me re-think my wardrobe! Since denim shorts have become so expensive, the little thrifty lady who lives in my mind loves the price & convinced me try them.. I originally bought these for cleaning, yard work, etc where I might stain up my denim shorts, but after wearing these, I've decided to buy many pairs for everyday shorts! They'd actually be fine for running errands, too! They're sharp looking shorts! The thick waistband, sits right at my waist, not necessarily in style, but I love it! I'm an older lady & still like my shorts/jeans, etc to sit at my waistline. I rarely tuck my shirts in anymore, but a tucked in shirt would look nice with the thick waistband. No puckering around the elastic give these shorts a nice look, no need to hide it. Long story short, I love these and will buy lots more and will wear them almost daily!! Lots of colors available, too! The picture of the model shows the shorts to fit right at the knee, but they're shorter than that on me. I'm long legged & they fit just right, at mid-thigh. The inseam length is 7", perfect for us "mature" ladies...(To help you with sizing... I'm 5'7" tall & I'm a bit over weight, weighing in at 200. I'm carrying most of my extra pounds in my waist and butt. UGH! Can't believe I'm saying all this, lol, but hate it when reviews don't tell you what you need to know, so I'll be honest... I bought mine in 1X and they fit me PERFECTLY!! Just buy according to the size chart, or your normal size & you'll be fine! The material is very stretchy & forgiving)Hope this review helps you make your choice. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with these shorts! Go ahead & buy them! Treat yourself to several!

Love these short. They are super comfy with pockets! I would say the size is accurate...i usually buy 2x because I like tighter pants but got 3x to make sure the were comfy. I am 5ft 10in and 295lbs.

These shorts are very nice. They are light weight, but not so light that they are see through. The legs are loose but don't flair so much that they make me look fatter. I am 160 lbs, 5'3" , in my 50's, and my legs are kind of dumpy and bumpy, so no short is going to look great on me, but these look pretty good and don't wrinkle like woven ones do.My only problem is that the 0x should have fit me, but I figured they would shrink, so I ordered the 1x, however, those just fit, so I had to return them for a 2x, and those fit perfectly after washing them. In my book, having to go up two sizes is ridiculous. I must say, though, that the sizing is consistent throughout the colors, something that is sadly not true of many garments nowadays.

I buy these every year, so when they arrived, I just put them into the drawer. Now that it's too late to return them, I find that they are skin tight. I've tried on last year's, to make sure I haven't gained 50 pounds without noticing. Nope. Same size, but they don't fit.

These are very comfortable shorts! There is nothing not to like about them. They are comfy through the waist, have generous pockets, and come down to just above my knee (I am petite.) The waistband is a two inch band of gentle elastic, not requiring a zipper. They do not bunch around the waist as many elastic waist garments do. I suppose I could have gone a size smaller if I wanted a tighter fit, but I got the size recommended in the sizing chart and the fit is comfortable. I expect some shrinkage, since they are 100% cotton. The only thing I would like better is if they were a tiny bit less scratchy, but that may come out in the wash.

Love these shorts.They fit perfect and the material thickness and nap are A+. They washed beautiful,kept their shape with no shrinkage. Did not put them in the dryer, wouldn't want the perfect fit to change. Have ordered 3 more pair, plan on ordering more as these are a rare find. The color remained beautiful navy. I rarely find shorts that seem to check all the boxes. I live in Florida and have to wear cotton due to the heat. These are perfect. Did order one size up after reading other reviews, this was perfect. Great fit!

The fit around the waist was just fine, I was treating this as a delicate and tried to make sure it was washed in cold water and dried on a low setting. Unfortunately I didn't catch my one of my sons throwing it into the dryer on a regular setting and it shrunk in the length some so now I only wear this one and the other one I bought around the house. The material and design of the shorts are nice, I just am upset that due to the dryer incident they shrunk a bit on me and I now I only feel comfortable wearing around the house.

these shorts run small at the waist. I have 2 pairs of JMS bike shorts and they fit perfectly. These are more like a women's regular size 14.

This is my second time buying shorts from Just My Size and again they did not disappoint!Pros:Would definitely recommend these shorts to my plus size girls. It's inexpensive, the material is very stretchy, and the band at the top is compressive which prevents the shorts from falling down. It's feels very light so it would be great to wear on a hot summer day or to hang around the house.Cons:I would not call these shorts flattering at all as it is more loose fitting towards the bottom, giving the lower body a box like appearance regardless of how curvy the person is.I believe these shorts would be best for staying at home, camping, or even using as swim trunks.

My order arrived ahead of time and is exactly what I expected.Based on reviews I went up a size and got a nice pair of comfy shorts perfect for sleeping.My suggestions ...If you want these shorts to fit similar to leggings, then order your usual size.If you want something roomier for sleeping, then go up a size..I will be ordering more for sure.

They are comfortable but they are not anything more than a typical casual short. I will wear them to the store or running errands, but wouldn't wear them going out for dinner or anything more than casual.I find there's a lot of material in the back of the leg which looks kind of weird. The material sits right against the front of the leg, but I swear I could fit a second leg behind with the amount of excess material that there is, so they look like you have huge legs.I also find the thick waistband a little uncomfortable because it rolls, I really don't know why any plus-size clothing has a thick waistband just for that reason.But I wanted comfortable shorts for walking my dog or doing work outside or around the house, and these are perfect for that! They are lightweight, cool and comfortable and they have pockets - which for me was a must. I previously bought another pair of shorts that I love and are super comfortable but did not have pockets, so I searched for ones that did and found these.I ended up buying a second pair in Black because I like these so much! The black is 100% cotton while these ones are a mix of cotton and polyester, but I find that they feel and fit the same. Also fit true to size!

These are super comfortable and became my new favorite shorts immediately upon slipping them on. I plan to repurchase. They are casual, yet the material is nice enough to wear for any occasion. I sized up one size as someone else had recommended in the reviews. My size would have worked, but I'm glad I sized up for more of a looser, comfy fit.

These shorts were exactly what I wanted. They are made of cotton, which was important to me. They fit well, and are short enough to be cool and long enough to be comfortable. I washed them several times without any problems. I liked them so much I bought another pair in a different colour.
