We mixed a little into the paint on our bedroom ceiling (painted a medium blue) and it gave a lovely little hit of sparkle. Don't use a lot or your (adult) bedroom will look like a kids room. But just a little in the paint on the ceiling is still tasteful and catches the eye--just a bit.

This is so pretty my walls turned out so beautiful. It looks like fresh falling, sparkly Snow on a sunny winter morning, that's what the walls look like I put two packages in per gallon. I already has a very very slight faint to it up close I get the paint from Home Depot. It's a red and white label. The number is 8050. It's a gloss if you put this stuff in that paint, it is magic so beautiful, hope that helps should note that it does take away the glossy feel of the paint. It feels almost like a very fine grade of sandpaper once applied to the walls, but that could be an easy fix. I love my walls. Everything is white and then, with this little added glam and sparkle with the lighting is fabulous and wonderful I was hesitant to try it because of the mixed reviews, but I am happy to say I am glad I tried it. It works for me. I didn't have any problems whatsoever with the mixing or otherwise when the paint dries all the sparkle comes out with no problem I didn't have to sand although it does come with little sandy pads. I did not have to use them:-)

I absolutely had to write a review of this product after scouring the reviews of this, and other, glitter paint additives, for weeks before biting the bullet. I just painted one "glitter wall" in my daughter's bedroom and I'm beyond pleased. I was so worried after reading so many reviews that this was going to he disastrous, but instead I ended up with EXACTLY what I wanted. We added the one packet of gold glitter to 6 cups of sherwin williams CASHMERE paint (in the same color that the technichally "finished wall" was already painted in- "lighthearted pink" if you're interested). I'm mentioning this because if I had to guess this is where a lot of people go wrong. DO NOT USE CHEAP PAINT ON YOUR WALLS...EVER. It will give you a hard time and it will likely end up looking as cheap as it was. So anyways, from mixing in the glitter to one coat finished took us under 45 minutes (my husband has to cut in for me ....no ladders for people 8 mos pregnant with twins). I'm no professional. I painted my first wall 2 weeks ago when we first moved into our new house. I thought I had a super awesome chance of screwing this up OR that the glitter wouldn't even show up. So many reviews stated that the glitter will clump or it'll be hard to apply evenly. Not. At.All. it went on like a dream....and the glitter! It shows up perfectly! Not like something dipped in glitter...but like a shimmering perfect canvas! Exactly what i wanted. And remember, I didn't use a clear coat but mixed it into pink paint. I haven't even buffed it yet ...and I may not....because it's perfectly shimmery. I absolutely can't wait for my 7 yr old to wake up and see it. I absolutely reccomend this product (and sherwin williams cashmere paint ;) )

I added this to a light gray paint for my daughter's room. When dry, the walls looked beautiful! it added a fun sparkle to the walls. Although it is much more noticeable under a well lit area, the glitter can be seen in a lesser lit areas as well. My only complaint, which I imagine would have been similar with any glitter paint additive, is that you have to constantly stir the paint/glitter mixture, otherwise the glitter will settle.

I bought this product because I couldn’t find Valspar glitter additive like I’ve used in the past. I will say it was definitely a try as it did not disappoint. The directions say to use 1 pack of glitter per gallon of pain, however I did something a little different because I have worked with glitter in the past on this same room. I did 2 packs in my first THIN COAT, and it was a little shimmer. The SECOND COAT, I used 2 1/2 packs as I had some left over. NOW, 2 1/2 packs to one gallon of paint gave a beautiful subtle glitter wall. It wasn’t overwhelming nor was it not obvious. I will say have the correct lighting also adds to a proper glitter wall. I have LED lighting and a cool blue light so it work’s perfectly. I used a Behr paint called Swirling Water which is a subtle cross between baby blue and periwinkle, talk about gorgeous! My previous glitter project was white walls with the glitter and they both came to fruition flawlessly. I did not buff the walls like it says to do but I can only imagine what it would look like if I did. It is definitely worth the money for sure just make sure you have enough you’re not satisfied with your first coat. Use both packs for the initial coat, don’t use one as it will not come out like you think. I tried adding a picture but it doesn’t show up on camera like it does in person. Once I can figure it out I’ll come back and add one.

Love this item when used on a smooth wall. Tried to take a picture, but the sparkles didn't show. I only used half a bag and got mother of pearl because we are selling the house and not everyone appreciatea the power of glitter. It's so pretty. I will absolutely use these in my future home. I cannot wait to try some of the other colors such as thw gold and the gun metal one. Sadly, didn't work when I used on textured wall. It was a different bag and I actually ended up using more than suggested, still the wall looks just white with more texture.

Ich habe das Glitzer gekauft, um mein WC zu verschönern. Hat problemlos funktioniert. Ich habe für einen 5-Liter-Kübel 2 Packungen Glitzer verwendet, da mir eines zu wenig erschien. Sieht super aus!

Wenn man sich an die Mengenvorgaben von V1rtus hält bekommt man auch den gewünschten Effekt. Ich habe 2 Beutelchen auf 3 l Dispersionsfarbe verwendet. Die Farbe entspricht hellem Beton, daher der schwarze Glitzerzusatzstoff. Bei entsprechendem Lichteinfall sieht man ein leichtes Glitzern, so wie es gewollt war. Ich habe nichts nachpoliert. Ich habe versucht, ein Foto zu machen, aber man erkennt bei direktem Lichteinfall nur dunkle Pünktchen, das Glitzern ist durch den Ton-in-Toneffekt nicht so prägnant.Uns gefällt es sehr gut und ich überlege, weitere Projekte auf diese Art zu verwirklichen. V1rtus wird es merken, denn ich werde bei Bedarf mit Sicherheit wieder dort bestellen.

Mit hellen Farben, wie weiß oder rosè, keine Chance auf Glitzer. Bei dunklen Farben ist es perfekt. Auch mit den Schwämmen wird es bei hellen Farben nicht besser. Schade, aber einen Versuch war es wert... Lesen hilft... Habe jetzt mal die mitgelieferten Schwämme benutzt, Leute, es glitzert.... wahnsinnig schön. Kaufe ich glatt nochmal. Auch wenn es vielleicht viel Arbeit macht... Aber so ein Pad auf den Akkuschrauber oder Schwingschleifer...hätte man drauf kommen können Volle Punktzahl... Gern wieder
