Het pistool voelt robuust en stevig aan, voor deze betaal je misschien iets meer, maar het is vervaardigd van kwalitatief hoogwaardig materiaal. Helaas is de koppeling welke erbij geleverd niet geschikt voor de Kärcher slangen met de snelkoppeling van het nieuwste type, wat desondanks in de beschrijving wel wordt beweerd. Ik moest alsnog een M22 koppeling van het juiste type bestellen (je herkent dit aan het gele binnenwerk ipv de groene), wat neerkomt op nog eens 20 euro extra inclusief verzenden. Maar dan nog steeds is deze uitbreiding (in mijn geval de Kärcher K4) de investering zeker waard!

I bought a Karcher k4 and after washing the car, i discovered id missed quite a lot due to the long karcher lance. Having seen lots of reviews i had already bought a longer hose from hoses direct and a stubby pistol was on the list. Having looked at a lot of reviews and pistols from detailing suppliers and then on amazon, i decided to go for this one. It came in a plain brown box with the spelling mistake moulded into the plastic housing but no identifiable manufacturer and no instructions as mentioned in the moulded wording on the housing. this looks to be the same as the slightly more expensive fai top version but is much cheaper than those supplied by detailing outlets and about the third of the cost of some branded ones. It is comfortable to hold and the trigger is positive but quite a strong spring, i wouldnt want to do multiple cars but doing a snow foam, waiting, hosing off and then detailing the wheels before a contact wash, its fine. Changing nozels is easy though i find i have to physically close the brass catch. Inserting the hose is also quite stiff but there are no signs of any leaks that other reviewers have reported. Unlike reviews on some branded triggers, this one DOES rotate when under pressure which is great for minimising hose kinking. I will still use the karcher lances etc for cleaning the patio and upvc, particularly the gutter and sofit boards but this is an ideal trigger for cleaning a car and probably window sills, bike and garden furniture. You certainly notice the change in pressure between the different jets. This certainly is a good product and my mjjc snow lance works with this and the white nozzle means i am all set up for detailing my car and am very happy with this set up. As to the images of others who reported leaking. My interpretation of the karcher instructions is that you should store the item with the hose disconnected from the lance. Today preparing to clean the patio, i connected the original karcher trigger and thought it was fully locked as it wouldnt turn or pull out but clearly it wasnt as i got the leakage similar to the image shown. I switched off the water, disconnected the karcher trigger reseated the hose, checked it was correctly located and switched on the water again and this time no leak. This was with the original karcher trigger, not this derasl stubby trigger which i connected perfectly yesterday.
