It's a GREAT product. I recently had to start taking meds for my diabetes. My doc started me with Metformin, going from 500mg to 1500 mg over the course of 3 weeks. After a month and a half I had to quit--my body could not tolerate the side effects. It was hard to eat anything, I had constant stomach pain and diarrhea--almost incontinent. Then she switched me to Glipizide--much lower chance of GI problems. Well--it was WORSE! I couldn't sleep through all the gut pain and couldn't keep anything in my stomach. I quit taking it after 1 week.Both meds also did not control my blood sugar very well. The Metformin halped more than the glipizide. The glipizde actually made my BG go UP. (Starting in Dec, when I began checking at home my BG was anywhere from 190-250! More often over 200. On 1500 mg of Metformin my lowesst fasting BG was 167--and that was only once or twice. More often in the 170's or 180's and often still around 200 or more. Glipizde--numbers were over 200 every day--around 220's. On the Black Seed Oil--I have been going consistently down--with only a couple spikes a couple days into the 190's, but more often in the 160's and today was 158! My lowest morning BG ever!I have now been taking only Black Seed Oil and my fasting BG numbers are the best they've been in a year--with no side effects other than positive ones!! I've only slightly tweaked my diet--and that tweak happened when I started the Metformin and I'm not really exercising as much as I should still--and yet it went down. So I am pointing strongly at the Black Seed oil! And this company seems like a really good one. Talked to the owner, very nice and helpful.
