I have only had this product installed for a couple of weeks but wow what I great price. Install honestly only took about 10 minutes, but actual set up (Bluetooth connection, connecting to the internet for updates and just personal settings took about an hour). Steering wheel controls, Bluetooth and wireless CarPlay all work flawlessly. I have had the unit reboot twice now if it was in the middle of starting up and I hit a command before it was fully operational but other than that very easy to install, keep all factory functions, and even cheaper than OEM style apple car play units I’ve seen.

Setting up this stereo proved straightforward after discovering the right instructional video. Its functionality is commendable, yet a couple of nuances surfaced during usage. The need for manual power control to prevent battery drainage is a slight inconvenience. Additionally, CarPlay connectivity issues were encountered, notably requiring a USB connection for seamless integration. The individuals in charge of this product have been helpful in many ways with ensuring my device was squared away.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS CHEAP CHEAP STEREO ONLY HAD IT 3 MONTHS AND ALREADY RANDOMLY STOPS PLAYING AND NO SOUND SUPER SLOW 3G LOADING SPEED AND SCREEN ALWAYS FREEZES

It’s ok. It will connect to Bluetooth just fine right away when I get in the car but it will not connect to CarPlay unless I plug my phone in and even then I still have to go to the Zlink app on the screen for it to connect. Looks very pretty and I love it when it works but it’s iffy when that actually is going happen.

Been using this for about 2 months now. I had the base model sound system, the new stereo came with wiring harnesses for the base and highline models, unfortunately the base harness doesn’t come with any way to wire in the CAN lines. Volkswagen stereos are part of the high speed CAN network. It uses the CAN system to tell the stereo when to shut off and to control airbags. So by installing this, I no longer have airbags and the radio is always on even when the car is off. I had to wire in a switch to manually turn the radio off but it doesn’t fix the airbag issue unfortunately. I y ried to contact support to see if they have another harness. The highline model harness has the CAN decoder/adapter but I can’t make it work with the base model. Their support link just redirects to a Uranium distribution company unfortunately. Also, the sound is a lot lower than the factory radio. I suspect it requires an amp. And the radio takes about 2 minutes to boot up and turn on Apple car play, and sometimes it’s a pain to connect. Honestly, spend the extra $100 and buy a more reputable system.

It was very easy to install , and everything looks pretty . But it dried out my battery within a few days, and now I have to change the car battery . The airbag warning light is on. It’s useless

This is a garbage, doesn’t work at all! The camera is broken, not working, the navigation is super slow. I paid $150 to a technician to install this, but then I have to take it off as it doesn’t work!
