Did the trick for what I needed. Buttons were worn out on my OEM Fob and would not lock or unlock the vehicle. Used the buttons and contacts from this new shell to replace the worn ones in my OEM remote. Fit and worked perfectly. I tried to use the front of the new shell with my old back, to keep the Lincoln logo but replace the worn chrome front. I could not make this work. I also tried to use everything from the new shell, but had a hard time getting it to snap closed, and gave up but probably could have got it to work eventually. I ordered two, since I think my second OEM remote will fail at some point. Delivery was quick. I ordered in the evening and they arrived the next morning.

Our Ford Edge remote control started failing, looked to find this item; ordered & rec’d; swapped internal electronics which gave a new and working perfect remote control. Good quality, same as original case. Very easy fix and swap out.

I don't know where to start. Our key fobs were damaged, my husband checked at the dealers for replacements. The cost was $210.00 plus tax for the key fob, we needed 2. I'm not sure if that included the programming. I checked on Amazon, I found a replacement fob for our car. I read reviews and some were positive. So I ordered a 2 pack. I got them right away. I opened them up and put the insides of the old key fobs inside the new case, it was very easy. I was hoping they would work. They did!!! It worked like a charm. The remote open and locked the doors. I was so happy, it even made the auto start work again from the remote. This was one of the best purchases I ever made with Amazon. It saved us a lot of money. I'm very pleased. [ $18.00 was my cost to replace our damaged key fobs.]

These are good replace fob covers if you have worn out buttons. Only complaint I have, is the key ring is hard to get on. Really have to open up the keyring to get it on. Otherwise not a bad product. That is the only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars.

this product was delivered in two pieces and it will not snap together. it is cheap made

Instead of having to get a brand new key fob for $300+ I got this instead and it’s worked perfectly!

I ended up installing contact strip in my old fobs to complete repair. Could not get new fobs to close with circuit board in place. But certainly cheaper than new fobs from Ford at $200 each and the fobs are working fine. Happy with purchase.
