Buttons were worn out on my OEM Fob and would not lock or unlock the vehicle. Used the buttons and contacts from this new shell to replace the worn ones in my OEM remote. Fit and worked perfectly. I tried to use the front of the new shell with my old back, to keep the Lincoln logo but replace the worn chrome front. I could not make this work. I also tried to use everything from the new shell, but had a hard time getting it to snap closed, and gave up but probably could have got it to work eventually. I ordered two, since I think my second OEM remote will fail at some point. Delivery was quick.
