Great value for DIY projects!
Great quality, and exactly as described! I purchased these, along with cast iron nipples and caps to make shelves, and they turned out exactly as I had hoped - heavy duty and looked "pre=made!" I will definitely keep extras of these around the house for future DIY projects!

Perfect For My Purposes - Inexpensive
These are not as heavy duty as the one Home Depot carries in stock, but HD charges $12 each for those. These were $1 each for 20! I was able to hang from a 6" nipple on one of these with all of my 170 lbs off the ground - plenty strong enough for my purposes. I like to use these with pipe nipples of various lengths for hanging items in my shop. Quite happy.

They work great for the lamps I make
I use them for making lamps. The lamps I make are out of pipe and I go through a lot of fittings. I can't speak to how they'd work in plumbing for if you would even use this type of fitting in plumbing. They work great though in holding the 5-10 pound lamps I make though.
