Is there a leather band that can used to replace the stock metal band?

Yes! Look under the band where it is attached to the watch. It has a pin that will make it adaptable for any band the proper style & width.

Where do I find the meaning of the watch icons ? These are not in the manual !

The watch actually SHOULD come with a very tiny booklet... which I blew up to try to see what was on it! It was 9 real-sized pages! I think if you google "Operation Guide 5161 for Casio Watch WVA-M630D-7AJF".... or maybe just the first part ending with Casio Watch (in case numbers have changed, since I got mine 8 years ago or so!), it might be there! (I tried attaching my pages to this email... it didn't work!) Good luck on your search!

Does it have hourly chime ?

Yes it does. It also has 5 different alarms as well. There are a many features packed into this watch that most find very useful.
