I have no complaints so far and it’s been 7 months of consistent use every other day for work and study as a grad student. I’ve even had it on for as long as 24 hrs without turning it off multiple times and never had any issues! So it’s built to keep up with your needs! It also never gets hot thanks to the LED tech. I haven’t had any issues with flickering or it not turning on. It has always worked for me consistently. I don’t have my BenQ lamp directly plugged in to my monitor as a power source. Instead, I have it plugged into a small extension cord that has a USB port which I keep top of my desk. I recommend the Tessan brand extension cord sold on Amazon, the best hands down (can be mounted to wall or desk). I believe your BenQ lamp may flicker if you plug it into something that does not provide adequate power. I noticed when I have it directly plugged into my Mac Studio Display using a USB to USB-C adapter (since Apple only has USB-C ports) it sometimes flickers (which may indicate that my monitor is not a significant or consistent enough power source for it). However, plugging it into a stronger power source like an actual extension outlet with a USB port resolves that issue! Overall, it’s been a game changer! No more eye strain. I’m so glad I invested in this BenQ lamp with the remote control, though there is a cheaper model, I prefer this one for the fancy remote control touch dial that sits nicely on my desk. Definitely makes it feel more like a luxury product. I enjoy all the settings it provides like brightness, warm/cool lighting, backlit/front lit or both, etc. So many options to fit your work/study needs at all hours of the day! It’s been just what I need to do work all night long on those days when I really need to get things done. Whah attracted me to this product is the fact that it isn’t obnoxiously brought, meaning it doesn’t light up the entire room if you turn it on. It provides very focused light but not too focused or direct where it only lights up a certain part. It lights up my whole desk without lighting up the whole room if that makes sense? My desk is in our bedroom and I’m glad my partner is no longer bombarded with a ton of light like if I were to turn on the ceiling fan light or a traditional desk or floor lamp. The BenQ monitor lamp really provides more controlled lighting just where you need it!

This was a great addition to the late night work / gaming all feels worthy of the price tag auto function works great and no reflection on the screen or my eyes just light where it needs to go. Fits perfect on a curved screen which normal cheaper lights will not and glare off the corners of the screen. Wireless control instantly pairs after putting the batteries in and works and can dim the light or warmth if your feeling like a cozy reading session turn it all the way down. Initially was hesitant on the price but it’s well worth it being the best desk light you can get. Control wheel feels premium metal and weighed light mounts steady even when moving desk up and down or typing.

If you are looking at this product chances are that you have already looked for reviews on YouTube, etc. It does everything it states it does. It is something that will always be in my office as its a fantastic light. Its construction is premium, even the unboxing is an experience, it feels like a premium product from the moment it ships to your door. The remote control is also very premium, I have had this for months and used it monday-friday for almost a year and have not had to change out the batteries. The touch control also feels very premium, zero lag, and feels like your touching an expensive premium product. But the most important factor is the lighting, it really changes things if you work primarily on a computer. I cannot imagine going back to working without this product, its a good ivesment in my opinion and is worth the asking price.

This is an outstanding light bar. It is bright, adjustable as to temperature, brightness, and angle, and the remote is durable and functions extremely well. The back light adds aesthetic benefit but also alleviates eye strain and can be turned on or off with or without the light bar. In the image, the BenQ ScreenBar Halo is paired with a Samsung 49" Odyssey G9 OLED curved 32:9 ultrawide monitor (1800 curve radius). In order to use this device on a curved monitor, there is a small adapter that must be fitted. The one problem I encountered with this setup is that the weight of the 'rear end' of the light bar is insufficient to keep the light bar sitting at the desired angle while mounted (it will sag downward and slightly block the screen). To fix this issue, I used a small circular cutout of velcro which I applied to the back of the light bar and the back of the monitor, which holds everything in place nicely. This is a small issue that arises solely because of the curved monitor setup and I do not hold it against the device as it was apparently designed for flat monitors. I highly recommend this product and believe it is worth the premium price.

I honestly was not expecting at all that this lighting would be so good. It just feels right, being properly exposed to your device. It kind of feels being outside. After only one working day from home I could tell the eye fatigue was reduced. Turning the Screenbar on and off is quite shocking because you find out how much contrast you used to expose your eyes too. At my age (~30) this investment feels much much more valuable than purchasing a top notch ergonomic office chair. I would recommended to start with this rather than buying a 2keuros chair. I will purchase a cheaper screenbar for my work office and see if it is decent when compared to the amazing BenQ Screenbar Halo.

Seit dem Kauf meiner ersten Screenbar vor etwa vier Jahren hat sich glücklicherweise einiges getan. Lange Zeit war es so, dass man immer gewisse Kompromisse eingehen musste, da nicht alle Leuchten für alle Tätigkeitsfelder am PC oder Laptop gleich geeignet waren. Nach vielen Fehltritten bin ich vor etwa 2 jahren bei menier ersten benQ Screenbar (damals noch ohne Controller gelandet und bin seitdem sowohl was E-Sport als auch Office angeht nicht mehr gewechselt. ☝🏼 Ich habe die BenQ ScreenBar Halo Monitor Lampe nun gut einer Woche in Nutzung und bin mit den hie gebotenen Upgrades absolut Zufrieden, wartum dies so ist. Erkläre ich Ihne gerne ausführlicher! Wer regelmäßig am PC arbeitet oder nach der Arbeit "zockt" wird mal mehr mal weniger automatisch mit dem Problem konfrontiert, dass eine optimale Ausleuchtung gar nicht so einfach hinzubekommen ist, wie man sich das eigentlich wünschen würde. Externe Lichtquellen stören beim Gaming die Atmosphäre und bieten beim Arbeiten mit dem PC oftmals keine gleichmäßige Ausleuchtung der Arbeitsfläche. Ich persönlich arbeite sowohl tagsüber als auch oft in der Nacht an meinem Bildschirmarbeitsplatz. Hier fallen neben der üblichen Schreibarbeit am Bildschirm auch immer wieder "analoge" Schreibtätigkeiten an. Hier ist oftmals eine Beleuchtung vön Nöten, die ohne Blendung und Schattenbildung genutzt werden kann, dies gilt ebenfalls im Hinblick auf das Gaming am PC. Wer bereits Erfahrungen mit Screenbars gemacht hat, wird zudem das Problem kennen, wenn EInstellungen an der Lampe durchgeführt werden müssen, dass diese nciht selten vom Monitor kippt. BenQ setzt mit seiner Halso ScreenBar mit Auto-Dimmfunktion und Farbton-Anpassungsfunktion genau dort an. ✔Die Lieferung der Screenbar erfolgt sicher verpackt in einem ansprechenden Frustfreien Karton. Welcher als Inhalt mit der Screenbar, einem dazugehörigen ausreichend langen USB Kabel zum Betrieb der Lampe am PC bzw. einer USB-Steckdose, dem Halteclip zum Einhängen am Monitor sowie einer recht überschaubaren kurzen Installationsanweisung daher. ☝🏼Die Verarbeitung ist wie bei dem Preis auch zu erwarten sein dürfte, sehr wertig und in sich auch stabil! Installation Die Lichtleiste muss lediglich kurz am Monitor eingeklingt werden (Adapter für Curved Monitore ist im Set enthalten) werden. Auf dem Monitor mittig platzieren und schon kann es los gehen. ☝🏼Durch die asymmetrische Konzeptionierung der Leuchte ist garantiert, dass der lichteinfall nur den Arbeitsplatz, nciht aber das Display direkt trifft. Das findet man sonst bei keinem mir bekannten Anbieter! Was als erstes auffällt ist die rückwärtig verbaute Zusatz-leuchte. Diese leuchtet quasi nochmal dezent den Monitor aus, was gerade beim Gaming ein angenehmes Zusatz-feature darstellt! Die Screenbar reagiert über den Regler mit Touchsensoren schnell und zielgerichtet, was mir absolut zusagt! Lichtintensität /Dimmung) der Screenbar Einstellung der Farbtemperatur Passiver Lichtsenor automatische Lichtanpassung/Dimmung An-/ und Ausschalter Empfohlen für ein "Augengerechtes" Arbeiten ist eine Lichtleistung von 500 Lux am PC Arbeitsplatz, so jedenfalls die offiziellen Empfehlungen. Diesen Wert nahm man sich bei BenQ scheinbar zur Brust und optimierte die Halo ScreenBar. Durch einfaches drehen am regler kann man sich die 500 Lux schnell einstellen und sogar als Favorit abspeichern oder aber jedes andere beliebige Szenario. Finde ich persönlich Super! Die Lichtstreuung auf dem Schreibtisch ist in einem für mein Empfinden so großzügig ausgelegten Bereich möglich, dass problemloses Arbeiten am und auf der Arbeitsfläche vor dem PC Bildschirm möglich ist. Eine zweite Lichtquelle benötige ich auch bei komplett abgedunkelten Raum überhaupt nicht mehr. Das Licht lässt sich natürlich in Kaltweiß und Warmweiß umschalten, so dass man jederzeit über die gewünschte Lichttemperatur zur passenden Tätigkeit wählen kann. Bis hierhin ein absolutes Lob Meinerseits! Ich spiele recht viel an meinem PC und nutze die Lampe hierzu natürlich auch. Gerade bei lang anhaltenden Zocker-Sessions habe ich festgestellt, dass meine Augen nicht mehr so dermaßen gereizt sind als wie dies zuvor noch mit einer seitlich "einstrahlenden" Schreibtischlampe der Fall war. Die Features des Kalt- und Warmlichtes bieten zu jeder Situation das passende Licht an und die Blendfreie und Augenschonende Ausleuchtung am PC Arbeitsplatz ist für mich persönlich die Beste, welche ich in all den Jahren erreicht habe. Mein Fazit: Eine wirklich gut ausgetüftelte und einfach zuu steuerende ScreenBar, welche sich optimal auf die persönlichen Bedürfnisse einstellen lässt. Der Preis ist sicherlich nciht ohne, aber wer den Vergleich wagt, wird feststellen, das sich die Investition durchaus lohnt!

Voici pourquoi je la recommande vivement : Points Positifs : - Éclairage sans Reflets : C'est l'un des principaux atouts de cette lampe. L'éclairage est parfaitement dirigé, sans créer de reflets sur l'écran, ni voir les petites particules de poussière qui se dépose, ce qui est crucial pour éviter la fatigue oculaire, surtout lors de longues sessions de travail. - Design Gain de Place : La lampe se fixe directement sur le haut de l'écran, ce qui libère un espace précieux sur le bureau. - Compatibilité avec Écrans Incurvés : La ScreenBar Halo s'adapte parfaitement aux écrans incurvés (1000-1800R), ce qui est rare à trouver. Elle s'ajuste bien et reste stable, offrant un éclairage uniforme. Il suffira d'ajouter simplement une petite pièce en caoutchouc dessus. - Plusieurs Modes de Lumière Intelligents : J'apprécie vraiment les différents modes de lumière qui s'adaptent à différents moments de la journée. Que ce soit pour une lumière chaude et douce le soir ou une lumière plus vive pour se concentrer, tout est possible. - Télécommande Sans Fil : La télécommande permet de régler facilement l'intensité et la température de la lumière, ce qui ajoute un confort d'utilisation supplémentaire. (A part quand on l'a reçoit, évidemment on appuie partout 😁) En résumé, la BenQ ScreenBar Halo est un produit haut de gamme qui offre un éclairage de bureau exceptionnel, surtout pour les utilisateurs d'écrans incurvés. Malgré son prix, les avantages qu'elle apporte en termes de confort visuel et de gain d'espace la rendent indispensable pour un setup de travail moderne. Je ne regrette vraiment pas mon choix, comparé à mon ancienne screenbar Xiaomi, c'est le jour et la nuit !
