What is the max weight it can hold?

Others like this one say they can hold 800 lbs. I believe this one can too it is a sturdy cot and it held me fine for a week and I'm 300 lbs.

Is it just an upgrade for the color or the thickness of the pad as well?

There is just one thickness of the pad and they have multiple colors and the pads are 2 sided. One side of the pad is navy blue and the other is light gray. We have washed them multiple times and they have held up. The pads also have elastic bands on all the corners so they don't slide off of the cot.

Does the cot come with the thick pad or do you have to buy that separately?
