It came in a sturdy box and was well protected from shipping damage. As far as the performance of the machine I am quite impressed. The rotating handle is quite handy when you are dealing with hard-to-reach places. The handle also flexes up and down which is quite nice. I like that it comes with a protective cover for the blade because it is super sharp. It was able to chew up even small branches. I was even able to trim My roses, which I've never done with a hedger before.It has an impressive reach and a voracious power when fully charged. I was also surprised to see how long the battery lasted. I was able to trim all of the dry material in my yard in one shot. which included a large run of daylilies that were quite past due. But it ate them up like there was no tomorrow! I would highly recommend this tool to anyone who likes to get their yard work done quickly and efficiently with Precision.I would say it is of maximum value compared to other higher-priced tools that you would find in the box stores. I charge it for more than an hour. Also, the blades get stuck quite often when trimming branches/stems larger than 1 cm. I still have an old 17 inch B&D trimmer that rarely gets stuck and saved me when this trimmer's charge ran out. I would not recommend this product and am planning on returning it.A month later, I got a replacement from Amazon and it only ran for 20 minutes on a full charge. I tried it a few times and everytime, I got 20 minutes. So I returned it.
