Several other reviewers had harsh comments about this hat and I was hesitant to purchase it but this hat is great. Very light and soft and fits well. Packaging was adequate but minimal. Despite this it arrived in great condition. Would buy again.

Love it
My husband purchased the same (well almost) hat many years ago. It was worn out. He wears it when he works outside in the sunshine. But he also wore it to some public outside functions. It needed, needed to be replaced. This one has the stretchable sweat ban built it. This was an improvement. He loves it. I'll buy it again when this one wears out.

fine, but has slight issue in wind.
my feeling is you need to buy something with a cowboy shape for wind. those practical cowboys were on to something. this hat it fine but in wind the front brim blows up and locks into place with a kind of snap. you can either rock this new shape or push it back down only to have the next gust snap it back again. Pro: locking chin strap is essential for any real wind. hat is light, cool, and vented for hot days.
