Factory fit and finish
Factory fit and finish. Replaced on my e36 in about 20 minutes and it has worked flawlessly ever since. Some items are worth paying BMW prices on. This part isn't. Save your money and go with the Dorman.

Amazon does not will not cover the manufacture warranty on these parts
I recently had this part fail. Knowing the Dorman has limited lifetime warranty I reached out to Amazon. Was told we do not cover it only 30days. I then reached out to Dorman which they indicated the product as a Limited Lifetime warranty and is processed by the reseller (Amazon in this case). Long story short just off the phone with Amazon and they Will Not abid by covering the Limited Life Time warranty, in fact the rep indicated I have to try with the manufacturer (even though I said I'd contact Dorman and they do not) and further amazon rep they do not cover warranty for Any products they sell and that it is up to the manufacture to cover. Consider carefully people where and whom you are purchasing from. Very disappointed and surprised with Amazon. PS I do not blame Dorman... they have always been great.

Don’t buy it. Broke on me within first two months
I had it for 2 months and randomly this thing just stopped working. No idea why but it’s pretty pricey for a piece of junk. If you’re going to sell something that isn’t guaranteed good quality, at least make it cheaper.

When I installed and tested it the fan was unbalanced so the whole front vibrates.
