This thing is awesome and has plenty of torque for changing tires. A must have for road trips. I purchased it to put in my Can Am when riding in Baja California. Saves time on tire changes

Durable - has no problem mixing a 50lb bag of cement in a 5-gallon bucket. Power - powerful enough with a 12Ah battery to remove wheel lug nuts. Battery Life - versatile with a wide range of battery sizes (I use the 8Ah most often, but also have the 12Ah and 4Ah). A good heavy duty device to complement the Bosch 12V drill and impact motors.

I used a second gen Freak until I dropped it off a ladder one too many times. Rather than fix the old tool, I decided I’d go for a little upgrade. It’s just like the 2nd gen but with a better light, different speed and mode settings, and a green indicator light. It also feels a little faster/more powerful on breakaway/reverse than the older 2nd gen Freak did. I’m an electrical mechanic, so I tend to really put my impact drivers through their turns, and these Bosch Freaks are fantastic for their versatility and the fact that they don’t get too hot with lots of prolonged use. Just truly great tools made for working men and women who need the versatility of having both a quarter and half inch socket at their disposal without worrying about buying and shattering socket adapters. 5/5 stars, these new Bosch tools coming out are impressive, unlike their older line ups.

I needed something better than a breaker bar to change the blades on my riding lawn mower and for swapping summer and winter tires on our cars. I researched affordable impact wrenches and this came in as good buy. I have no regrets. For my limited home use it’s perfect, I’m not making a living with this tool. It has enough power, speed and torque for the average user. I already had a Bosch drill which I was happy with so adding this to my collection means I already have other batteries that fit it as well. And the light really is a bonus, more useful than I would have thought.

Build quality is excellent and the tool is great. The only down side is the delivery by aramex. It was awful.
