These are great. I bought 2 and gave a set to my grandson. I have a couple of very nice pens and these look great on my desk.

Corrected review - "Not transparent" because of materials on bottom, now resolved
Added info: Seller communicated efficiently with me to encourage I be more aggressive in trying to peel off the bottom papers on these. The edges could not be discerned to pull away with fingernail, I finally used a knife which found the edge of protective papers. AOK now. :) I'm not sure if that is some paper attached to bottom of upright pen stand. It doesn't seem like something I can peel off. The bottom of the lateral pen stand has a foggy surface, again, I can't tell if it's something that can be removed or not. I wanted these to take marketing photos of lathe turned pens my husband makes, so they are not useful in that respect. Otherwise they function well enough.

Perfect for my fountain pens
I wanted a non obtrusive pen holder for showcasing my fountain pens in my instagram posts and these totally fit the bill. Very sturdy even for my heaviest pens.
