There are 20 adhesive discs not 100.. They are clear in the ad about this, so it is not misadvertising, but I was disappointed because I did not catch it so be aware you will glue 80 yourself. These ceramic magnets are about half as thick as the ones you regularly see in craft stores. they have nice smooth rounded edges. (I don't think they will scratch my fridge). the case is great and is much easier to move the magnets around with in my craft box than those that arrive loose. They are strong enough to make refrigerator magnets but won't pinch your fingers like some others. I use them in radio control boats to hold decks and covers in place. I want something strong enough to hold the decks but not so strong that it can damage anything when they are moved. There are smaller but stronger magnets that I've looked at but they are so strong that they would be a problem every time I want to move the deck or cover.
