These work very well! Purchased for occasional use for when the UK pavements are icy. Tested out already this week! I have a metal hip so I need to be careful if falls. I was very worried but I didn’t feel vulnerable in these. Other people were walking along very gingerly but with these I could walk on the icy parts confidentially. They give good grip. They do make a noise as they hit the ground when you walk but I will take that over slipping any day. I wear a size UK 3 shoe but as they were going over my chunky winter boots I sized up and got a medium as suggested in the details and they were a perfect fit. Easy to stretch on and off and didn’t move or come off at all while walking. Very pleased. I’d recommend!

We bought a pair each for a trip to Tromsø to walk around the city. They size up quite small so if you have a boot go large. I had some Helly Hansens winter boot size 7 and got XL, partner had Palladium size 6 and got L and this was fine for both. I might have got away with the large size but wasn’t sure how much they would stretch so went bigger. Mine seemed a bit ill fitting when I put them on but they stayed on well and certainly made a difference with grip when walking on icy parts of the pavement. Fairly easy to whip on and off once you get the technique.

Wow wow WOW!!! I bought these in 2023 for icy pavements but never used them until recently. With the bad weather spell we've had there's been alot of icy pavements in the city where I live. I need to walk a short distance to work and there's been ice on the pavements. So I got these gems out and finally used them. And I'm impressed. No slipping or sliding occurred. My feet sunk into ice patches with ease. However! I was walking carefully because I didn't want to take risks. I walked on wet but clear patches of pavements where I could. But relied on these cleats to get me through icy patches on the pavements that I couldn't avoid. They worked a treat. I got to work and back safely. My only annoyance is that the spikes wear out quickly due to walking on pavements. So these cleats will have to be replaced quickly. By that I mean I'll have to buy more pairs. 1 pair will last me a day and a half I can tell. So I'll need extra pairs. Otherwise, they are worth the buy, comfortable to use. I'd recommend buying velcro straps to secure the cleats to the shoe to avoid coming off when walking. The cleats do fit snugly as is to my work trainers but velcro straps would add extra security. Just my opinion. But 5 stars well earned. Thank you to the seller and manufacturers for these amazing cleats! Bravo!

A good delivery, said they would arrive and they did, the grips worked well but I would always buy the next size up from what you think you need as I did, as it makes them a lot easier to put on, good value for the money.

Good product but sadly didn’t fit over my size 8 boots

I would give 6 stars if I could! We have just spent 5 days in Tromso, Northern Norway and these were an absolute godsend! We were faced with at least a foot of snow, and roads were just pure ice, these spikes gripped perfectly and gave us complete peace of mind I simply wouldn’t have been able to walk without these as my boots were very slippery! After this trip, I don’t think there will be much more of an extreme acid test for this product so I’m highly qualified to make this review, if you want to be safe in the snow and ice, these are the only product you need!

Der Winter mit chaotischem Winterdienst und viel Glätte hat mit diesem Schuhüberzieher jeden Schrecken verloren. Das Gummi ist sehr robust, es hält stramm auf dem Schuh und ist zur Schuhsohle rutschfest. Weil die kleinen Kunsstoffhalter der Spike sich auch bei Belastung etwas in die Schuhsohle drücken, muss die Haltekraft gegen rutschen gar nicht vom Gummi aufgenommen werden. Das schwarze Gummi fixiert also eher die Spites am richtigen Ort. Die Spikes sind wie ein kleiner runder Trichter: außen scharfkantig, aber rund und nicht spitz. Dadurch sticht man nicht ein und kann nicht festhängen. Die Spitzen hochwertiger Wanderstöcke sind nach dem gleichen Prinzip geformt. Die Spikes sind noch so flach, dass kurzes gehen auf z.B. Asphalt kein Problem ist. Sie sind auch so hart, dass sie nicht beschädigt werden. Das Anlegen geht sehr schnell, man kann sie aber auch gut verstauen, falten, einrollen, alles kein Problem. Wenn doch mal ein Spikes aus dem Gummi fällt, mir einmal passiert in Viren Benutzungstagen, ist ein kleiner Beutel mit Ersatzspikes dabei. Das überraschende: die Spikes sind so scharf und kompakt, dass man auf den gefürchteten Eisflächen fast am Besten geht und bombenfest steht. Auch im glatten oder festen Schnee ist das laufen sehr angenehm. Dann drückt sich alles etwas tiefer ein unentbehrlich den Spikes tragen auch die Gummibänder wie eine Vertiefung des Schuhprofils. Mein Hauptanwendungsfall. Büroschuh mit glatter Ledersohle … Weg zum Auto, Weg in der Pause, Weg vom Flughafen zur S-Bahn, nicht gleich für den ganzen Bürotag auf einen Winterschuh wechseln. Perfekt! In diesem Winter mit der allgemeinen Unfähigkeit zum Winterdienst für mich das Produkt des Jahres … man wundert sich, wie wenige das Patent für sich erst entdeckt haben. Für wenige EUR keine gebrochenen Arme. Wirklich Top.

Von der Funktion her, gibt es nichts negatives. Beim Kauf sollte man wirklich eine Ausführung größer nehmen, denn das Aufziehen der Spikes ist sehr stramm. Wir sind dazu übergegangen die Schuhe selbst vor dem Anziehen extern zu bestücken.
