It took a little effort to get the threads to catch, but once they did, it tightened all the way thru the nut, so I was satisfied. I have an Samsung Note 20 Ultra with a slim case, and it doesn't really fit snugly in the cradle. I am looking for another that will fit the riser, but they all say up to 32mm.
