FTZ II - Adapter for F-Mount lenses on Z-Mount cameras

I bought this adapter having recently purchased a Nikon Z fc. I already have a few Nikon F mount lenses and I wanted to use them on the new Z mount camera. The FTZII does exactly that, maintaining AF for all lenses from AF-S and newer. The fit is reassuringly tight and the lenses work perfectly. I have some AF-D lenses where the AF does not work, but that's fine. They manually focus beautifully. My AF-S work like a dream with no loss of speed or image quality. The finish is superb (not surprisingly from Nikon) and it complements both lenses and camera. I would definitely recommend the FTZII over the FTZ, purely because it does not have the tripod mount to get in the way of mounting a base plate on the camera. It also looks so much better!! Yes, it's expensive for what it is, but it's a quality Nikon item, that serves to extend the life of your F mount lenses as you venture into the new world of the Nikon Z mount. Very highly recommended.

The product comes inside a cardboard box; once opened, you'll see the product itself and some paper. This product works perfectly on my Nikon Z50, with my old AF-S lenses - I particularly love using the 40mm Micro lens with my new camera, it works perfectly and is very high quality. It lets me use autofocus on the new camera, too; very practical and helpful. Note - this product said "lens not recognised" when I first tested it. If you see this, you need to update the software on your camera. 100% recommend this product, extremely useful bit of kit

If you weren't already aware from the price discount, this is an Asian market product and I don't believe the warranty is valid in Europe. It is genuine Nikon, however, and so far does what it says on the tin. Far cheaper than buying new lenses if you are thinking of making the switch to a mirror less camera.

The upgraded version of the original FTZ adapter. It's smaller and doesn't have the tripod mount on the bottom (which had a reputation for splitting on the original). Great way to use original AF lenses on Z camera. There are third party clones filter less but I prefer thence Nikon original

Perfect. Switched to a mirrorless from a dslr and didn’t want to have to pay a fortune for another 150-600mm lens. This allows me to use my f mount lens on the z Mount camera without losing the auto focus

This is an amazing camera my photos look a lot better and sharper. I would recomment this camera to anyone who is looking to upgrade their Nikon camera as I upgraded from the D500 and also keeping my D850 alongside my new Z6iii.

I have a Tamron zoom lens for DSLR cameras, because at the time there wasn't a 600 mm lens with a decent price for my Z6II. It works nice, still for wildlife photography is a little bit slow with the focus, can be the camera, but definitely the adapter. Anyways, is not a big issue in most cases, just in specific cases according the light and the background.
