Great for teaching about the concept of whole and parts to understand fractions. I like that it had no fractions written on it so students have to count and think about the value of each piece without relying on seeing the fraction written. It’s great for students to see the relationship between parts and the whole.

These are sturdy and useful. My only complaint is that they skipped the sevenths. This is shown in the picture, but I honestly didn’t look closely enough.

I’m a SPED teacher and was looking for traction bars to use with my students that were not labeled and these are perfect. They are very durable, easy to clean, and very similar in shape and color to the ones used in the general education room. This is a great transition tool for my students.

For me, there is nothing like a good quality math manipualive. This set is perfect. This set shows children how fractions work. There is one whole bar. The children get to manipulate the different parts, add fractions together, and subtract to visually see how the fractions work. This set is perfect for an introduction to fractions. If possible, I would suggest every student have one available as they learn math.

Wonderful tool to help my daughter visually understand fractions, as well as reducing and comparing them. My only complaint (for the 4 stars) would be that each piece is not labeled. As far as learning goes, we'd have to set them all up to make sure we were comparing the right pieces. I didnt have a sharpie at the time to mark them, but quickly fixed that and marked them which helped a lot.

I purchased these for a classroom accommodation for a student. They are exactly like the marked set, so I was pleased with the purchase.
