Highly recommend
If you’re anything like me who hates wet soggy smelly bath mats..this is the way to go. It dries within 30 seconds to a minute I’d say and never smells funny or funky. It is very delicate though so you have to be careful when putting it down. I sanded it down once with the patches they sent me, after like 6 months of having it, and it was good as new. This product requires very little maintenance. Also, always put the slip resistant mat they provided because this can slip across a bathroom floor.

Great product that does exactly as advertised.
I started using this product after seeing a competitor video online, and since I have bought it I have had basically no problems. I've actually bought this product a total of 2 times now, once in the light color and once in the classic color as i moved and required a change of look. Both times the mat has been sufficiently absorbent as to leave no water after a shower for me so long as that water lands on the mat. It dries fast, and remains clean and unmarred for weeks in between surface sanding. When it first arrived on both occasions, it required a wash as it was covered in manufacturing dust, but that is simple as rinsing in the tub and letting it dry. I like the looks, the stone look is somewhat special for this brand and I think it increases the value for me. I would recommend, and my only complaint is that it does not come in an oversized option as normally I would use a larger bathmat since I am a wide person.

Absorbent, not indestructible
Love this bath mat. Bought two of these when I remodeled my bathrooms and really love them. My youngest would leave a trail of water all over the bathroom floor but we no longer have that issue. The 1st picture is the 1st one that eventually cracked after about 14 months of regular use by 3 people. Over time it started to warp a little bit and eventually split down one of the ridges. We just pushed it together for a while until I eventually was able to order a replacement. The second original mat I bought is intact and un warped. Only one person regularly uses that mat as compared to three people for the one that cracked. The second picture is the one of the replacements I ordered. I posted both the old and the new to show that 1st, aside from the crack, still looked really good compared to the new one. I, personally, I’m very happy with this product because it keeps my bathroom floor dry and in the end held up better, in my opinion, than rugs do. Plus, I didn’t have to have multiple rugs that I had to wash regularly. We only had to clean the old stone once because a cat threw up on it. We wiped it up right away and it did not stain.

I was surprised at how nice these are. Very absorbent and better than regular bathmat
Spent hours/days researching these as my son gets out of the shower so soaking wet that his bathmat stays soaked for hours. Our bathmat gets wet and then wife has towels on the floor as well as feet are always too wet. I was looking for something else. I forget how I heard about these...may have been some article about the home or something. Regardless, I started looking into them. I didn't like the prices I saw for the ones that looked good and I was concerned about wasting money on the cheap ones. I spent many hours/days reading reviews and trying to read between the lines as well. I decided on these after doing all that research. Bought 2. One of us, one for our son. Surprisingly feel good when stepping out of the shower/tub to them. Doesn't feel uncomfortable or unnatural at all. Stand on it for 10-15 seconds, towel off legs/torso, then step away and leave very little, to no, water on the floor. That's a big PLUS! Unit shows the wet footprints and they disappear quickly as well. Very absorbent. Wish I would have known about these earlier and wish they were available years ago.

Broke after 17 days
So I like this item. Work very well. The water reallly disappears with in 1-5 mins depend on how much water is on your body whbe stepped out of shower or tub. Well I have two and today mine broke. I used the shower this morning and I step out and wiht my normal testing phase. I came home tonite and I saw it snap in half. Hmmmm not sure why or how . But I look at it. Pick it up and I can see stress marks running to the edge. I guess if u come out wiht a lot of water and it take too long to absorbed, u can see the fracture line. Will call customer care to see what they can do. But this is not good if it broke like that. 11/8/23 updates. So Amazon is sending me a new set. I’m still in the testing phase. So now I still using the second one. They are both being used everyday . Last night 11/7/23. I stepped out of the shower soaking wet and I saw the amount of water rush down. And I was fine. But 10 mins later, I looked back and the second one snap where all those water gather, but it evaporated alresdy. I dnt know if these were bad batch. But if they all do that then I dnt recommend them.

WAY more absorbant than a regular rug
This is one of those things that you don't realize how much you need it. It wicks the moisture off of and away from your feet instantly. You aren't standing on a wet rug, you are standing on a rock that stays dry after stepping out of the shower. Realistically with a regular rug it dries your feet a bit, but you still are standing on a wet mat and track water everywhere. With this it dries your feet and STAYS dry afterwards (presumably all the water goes to the bottom and slowly evaporates over time), so your feet are actually dried and you don't track water all over the bathroom. Heck before you could put on socks you could walk on top of it and not get wet socks, super useful if the way to your closet is through your bathroom (or just generally want to reduce slipping hazards). I think maybe 2 or 3 people back-to-back could overwhelm one of this size. I get the feeling if I just stood there and didn't bother drying off the rest of my body with a towel that it would nearly overwhelm it, but if you actually intend to dry yourself while standing there it would probably be okay for the next person (especially if they aren't right after).

Amazing..but not for busy homes
So just be aware - this is literally a slab of stone, really HEAVY too. I’m sure this thing is absolutely incredible for quickly drying after bathing but we returned it because we have little kids who could potentially drop all kinds of toys on it and crack it or maybe even slip on it with wet feet cuz they’re moving too fast right after bath time. I’m not sure how good it is to keep clean since we have a dog who sheds a ton and the kids play outside a lot barefoot. But if you have a pristine bathroom with no busy little kids or dogs then this would be perfect yet if you have a busy house like we do, I’d suggest something else. We thought it was a fairly typical bath mat with just a stone ‘look’ to it, didn’t fully realize that it’s actually a stone slab. Duh on our parts

Customer Service
Regarding customer service, my experience was excellent. There was an unfortunate situation with the delivery company that caused a break in the tracking updates and ultimately an undelivered package. I worked with customer service, and another product was espediately sent with a different delivery company. There were many messages back and forth with extremely fast responses and friendly, reassuring information as to what was being done to correct the problem. I would definitely order again from Sutera.
