Have used 3 of the 10 so far, and one of them is dead. Still gets 4 stars for being so cheap for bulk, but if more are dead it'll decrease the rating more.

Great to have on hand to share data with friends.

I love the colors and the price for these drives and bought 10 in the Spring. They sat unused for four months before I used my second one. (The first one worked fine but I put data on it and gave it away). I have a whole 'toolkit' on my USB drive and use it frequently. After only the second use it stopped responding and when I would insert it in a computer it would lock up the computer until I removed it. I made a new 'toolkit' on another of these drives and the same thing happened after only a few uses. Same results with the third drive, so that's a third of the package unusable. I have tried reformatting them using different formats and again after a couple uses they would just stop working.

All 10 drives worked great storing a slide show of pictures and videos.

I bought these primarily as backup drives as I'll be working away from home for a while and wanted a 7-day backup pattern. These fit the bill perfectly, with a couple to spare! One slight issue was that the keychain colours didn't exactly match all the drive colours - what a problem :).

Needs reformatting for Mac but really very simple to use and invaluable to me as a video editor transferring massive files from one computer to another and storing all the final cuts.

Had these a few days, as needed to separate different projects I am working on. I've always used USB's in this way and when my projects are complete, I save to external hard drives. I opened the pack, all nice and bonny. I downloaded to various USBs' and labelled with matching coloured labels. Feeling very pleased with my organisation, I proceeded to work and ensured everything was saved before I then left to make a drink. However, on my return, I was unable to see anything. I contacted my son, a forensic computer guy who took over my laptop, did a few tests and told me that there was no partitioning on the pens and everything was gone. My partner, also a technician, opened the extremely hot USB stick to see that it had indeed overheated. By both technicians, I was told to immediately remove everything I'd downloaded to the other sticks because they are cheaply made and of very poor quality. You get what you pay for and in my case: "Pay for what you get". Believe me, I'm not paying the price!! I have lost 11 months of work and organisation, some precious photographs, reports and documents that I've been working on, that I'll never get back. I'm absolutely furious and upset. I should receive compensation for what these sticks have cost me in real terms. I would strongly advise to use good quality USBs from a reputable company. The 2 computer engineers in my life have told me I shouldn't store anything on a pen anyway and that I should be paying extra for cloud storage, which I now am. I also have several external hard drives, as a back up.
