Review: leukemia sucks, this toy doesn't - I have a loved one with leukemia -- a cancer of the white blood cells. I got this for him and told him it's a *healthy* leukocyte instead of one of the bad ones. It is hanging in his hospital room, where he can enjoy it, and the docs and nurses love it too. It's soft and cute, about 6 inches high, and has googly eyes. Definitely a must-have ally in the fight against cancer. It also comes with an amusing and informative tag that explains the role leukocytes play -- the are the "white knights" on the bloody field of battle against infection. This is a great gift for a cancer patient, doctor or nurse, or kid with an interest in medicine. (I just wish it had a little loop or hook on the head for hanging...he doesn't stand up very well.)
