CAN THESE BATTERIES BE USED IN CD PLAYERS

Yes, as long as your CD players take size C! They will work in any size C application. They are the same as Energizer Max. If anything they might have a little higher MAH rating. But not much. I used them in trail cameras. My cameras take 6 C and they lasted the whole month of September on one set. They work great.

What is the expiration date of the batteries?___________ (also marked on the batteries themselves)

I don't know the expiration of batteries but I know they last longer if you put them in the freezer

What’s the difference between these and normal energizer batteries ?

Alkaline batteries as a rule last longer than regular dry cell batteries. I use these in battery lit window candles and I found that after testing energizer, Duracell, and rayovac alkaline batteries rayovac kept the window lit longer. I also had a problem with the Duracell brand leaking.
