Thank you for your question. The 10" Evolution blade (10BLADEST with 52 teeth is designed for cutting mild steels. The 10" Evolution blade (10BLADESSN) with 66 teeth is designed for cutting stainless steel. Best results and tool life achieved when cutting 304 Stainless.

No, I don’t like this blade. The life on these blades are short-lived. Go with a different brand of blade than Evolution if you’re cutting aluminum or steel.

Can this be used on a dewalt 7 1/4 miter saw?

NO! . . . A metal cutting circular saw spins at a lower speed as needed for these blades. MAX speed for the 7-1/4" Metal cutting blade is 3,900 RPM. Dewalt's regular circular saw (for Wood), turns at 5,200 RPM. This would be a DANGEROUS Combo.
