Red Lion RL-SC33DUP 115 Volt, 1/3 HP, 6000 GPH Dual Automatic Cast Iron Sump Pump System with 10-Foot Cord, Red, 14942771

These went in pretty easily. Because of where the vertical pipe is positioned in our sump I had to relocate one of the floats by unbolting it and rotating it 180 degrees to keep the float clear of the sump wall. I had a cast iron 1/2 hp pump in place and it was noisy. I could hear it run every time. Now the only way I can tell if these are functioning is check my sump monitor. I'm not a fan of this style of float switch. Having tried both these and the floating balls, these fail more quickly. But if they last a year (to the annual replacement) then they are good enough. Heavy construction and seem very high quality.

Purchased in late 2022. First pump motor failed within a few months. Apparently, the second failed recently leaving my basement flooded. Lasted less than three years with minimal use and caused a flood. Not great.

Well so far so good. Install was painless and now I have a nice primary/secondary system from grid electricity. One has a float stop and the other does not, but comes with an extra in case you decide you need the power of both to act as primary. They come out of the box set up (float stop) to operate as primary and secondary pumps. I have these in my triple redundant system and the kit performs well and leaves me enough room for a battery back up 12vdc pump. I actually couldn’t be more pleased with this Red Lion kit.

Easy setup as replacement for my previous single pump.

This is a great product. Too bad it only lasted 15 months. The whole reason I bought this setup was the two pump setup in small space. I have used zoeller pumps since I owned my house but decided to give Red Lion a chance. Sadly just as disappointed as Zoeller. First set of pumps floats did not work return it but gave them a second try. Now 15 months after installation one of the pumps have failed. That is a average of $10 a month.

So far so good. I hope the pumps last a long time.this was then.... now it is a different story. One of the pumps failed and Red Lion's customer support is NOT!. If you expect a company to stand behind their product, Red Lion is not one of them. They tech reps are intransigent. And customer service phone people who answer the phone after you hold for45 minutes (if you are) lucky are useless. They ALL cling to stupid excuses to tell you that your warranty is voided. Advice: Buy Zoeller! by far superior quality and support.

Works great so far. Great piece of mind having back up pump

I purchased these 3/21 after a sump failure. Well today 1/2/25 and this morning I go to the basement and they both failed and My basement was flooded. IMO junk

Whisper quiet operation. One of these two pumps moves more water than my old 3/4 horse pump. We upgraded due to a flood where more water came in for hours than was being pumped out. I am more than happy with my purchase.

Lasted 5 weeks (one week past the return date of course) and primary pump failed, garbage. My last pumps were still going after 5 years and changed them just because I wanted pieced of mind, should have went back with them.
