Review: Lovely & cute simple stim / fidget toy - I'm in my 40s, and late-diagnosed with ADHD (tho, ND or NT, everybody gets fidgety sometimes.) I'm picky about sensory stimuli and aesthetics, so finding fidgets that fill both needs is an interesting challenge. I could never get on board with the floppy popits that kids started going nuts for a few years ago, as they just felt wrong in my hands & often left a weird smell. But there's something quite satisfying about playing with this little beauty, and it's a pleasant bit of kitschy decor. The functional silicone bits remind me of the poppers/pop-up rubber playthings from the 80s/90s, with more resistance & snap vs other modern popits. The hard plastic gives leverage to fidgeting, and even with a seam, it's comfortably smooth as can be while securely holding the silicone in place. The material and construction seem of high quality. I bought this for myself, but I'd feel safe letting a toddler past teething toys handle it. I'm a sucker for rainbows & the occasional trompe l'oeil object -- it looks like a painter's palette, so even just seeing it in my tin of fidgets makes me smile. A worthwhile purchase for yourself or as a gift!
