I guess I expected something a little bit harder than these. I must not have noticed the picture showing someone squeezing it. They are very soft, which is what you want as protection for kids. They stick on easy using the attached 3m double sided tape. It should adhere to practically any surface.My only problem with these is they feel like they will tear apart easily. So if you have a baby that likes to chew things or tries to put everything in their mouth, you will probably want something else, or just be extra careful watching them. These should do fine for a baby just learning to walk, but not any older. For instance, my 2 year old walks and runs pretty well. As most kids that age, occasionally they get going so quick, their legs cant keep up and they fall. The problem is that at that age, they are also super curious. So these may be fine for protection, but they are not going to stay put on the table if your curious 2 year old notices it and starts trying to pull it off. The tape is strong, but not that strong.Overall, I think they will be a good buy, and as long as I can keep them attached, I would say they are well worth the money.
