Anyone have problems with orange on clothes?** A: I did not see any problem but then I wasn't looking for this kind of a problem. Suit appeared clean after washing but this is not a white suit. That's all I got. **Q: should I wear sunscreen with bain de soleil?** A: The low SPF would suggest a need for sunscreen, but I burn less with this than I do with products that state SPF 15 or 30 or more. (Neutragena, hawaiian tropic, coppertone, et al) That may be because the greasy formula keeps it in place better, or because it doesn't solarize (break down in the sun) as quickly, or because the chemical burn from the breakdown products of the other sunscreens mimics sunburn. I tend to be out for 8+ hours in the sun at the beach when we go, and I reapply sunscreens every 2 hours, but only every 4 hours with Bain de Soleil. The effect I'm trying to describe may only occur for long exposures, or it may only occur for people sensitive to the breakdown products of the active ingredients in higher SPF sunscreens, or it may just be me. That said its still just SPF 4. I would NOT use this alone for a long day in the Caribbean unless you already have a dark tan, and some shade to duck under for some of the time, or for more than a short time when completely pale no matter how far north. The pleasant aroma matches the scent of the blossom of the white water lily found in New England ponds and lakes, and perhaps everywhere else, but I've only smelled those ones. **Q: Is this product made in USA?** A: It's made by Bayer in Germany. Love it and used it for years. Lots of ideas about tanning and they produce results however Bain De Soleil Orange Gelle really hits the mark. A friend from many years ago who was a model introduced it to me and I have sought it out for years. Glad to see Amazon carries it.If your hitting the beach for the first day of the year, perhaps you should consider a baby sunblock with SPF 150, yup they make that, but after the base tan is down season it with this SPF 4 Orange Gelle, and then see the difference. Back in the day we would start out with this with two hours a day for a week before hitting the beach all day eliminating any really bad burns.It certainly produces a rich dark tan perhaps better than you ever had. I would recommend it to anyone.Con: The tube always cracks a some point.Pro: Pro's I knew used this. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This lotion gives an amazing tan very quickly *by A***K on July 10, 2010* This may be a bit expensive but the tan you ultimately develop when using this lotion is very nice. A mix between a bronze-y brown and orange. What's more amazing is the rapidity with which you develop the tan. I was quite on the white side of the skintone spectrum at the start of June, and after only two beach outings I could already see a noticeable tan. The low SPF of this may turn people off; I wish they made this lotion in at least SPF 12 or something.One bottle of this lasts about 3-4 weeks of beachgoing.One complaint I have is about the actual packaging. It comes in sort of a toothpaste-esque tube, except it's made out of hard metal. Once you get down to a bit of the lotion, it becomes very difficult to get it out. I'd say 10 percent of the bottle gets wasted because of the container.Packaging aside, this is the best sunscreen I've ever used.
