DEWALT Nut Driver Set, Impact Ready, Magnetic, 5-Piece (DW2235IR)

’ve been using this DEWALT nut driver set for over a year and it’s been excellent. The build quality is top-notch – strong metal, accurate fit, and the magnetic hold works perfectly. I use it both with an impact driver and a manual handle, and it performs great in both cases. No rust, no wear, and still looks almost new. A solid, professional-grade set that does exactly what it should.

These are simply the best impact driver nut drivers there are. I first had the harbor frieght brand "warrior" ones. They are not really made for impact drivers even though they say that are. Even in just a regular drill the magnet falls out after a few weeks. I've had the Milwaukee set which are about 1/2 as thick as these, I had one of them literally just shatter. I bought these for use in my impact driver to stand up to the harsh use impact drivers put on various drivers and they have served me very well. Today I pre drilled through a 2 in thick man hole cover and was using 1/4in self tappers to mount a sign onto the man hole cover. Even pre drilled the 1/4 self tappers would snap under the torque from the impact driver. If the tolerances of these nut drivers were lose, they would have just stripped the head. After snapping, the head would fall out with just you overcoming the force of the magnet due to the fact the edges of the hex head did not start to turn inside the nut driver due to the extreme tight tolerance and fit of these nut drivers. Using the 5/16 size self tappers and pre drilling a bigger hole I was successful in mounting the sign. Without these, this job would not have been possible. The precise fit of these nut drivers delivered all of the impacts to the sides of the hex head without any kind of slippage, giving maximum driving power. Just bought a second set to go with my drill. The only negative is that they do not come with a holder. This is ok for me as I still had the holders from the lesser nut drivers that failed. Any 1/4 bit holder for the most part will hold these. These are indispensable and actually last!

Great impact drivers. Needed for work. They don't slip, and the magnet holds the screws we'll. No dropping them

I use these for projects around the house so I can't say how great they would hold up for every day use but for what I use them for they do quite well. The magnet is what makes them special. I have several different brands of nut drivers but I specifically look to use these whenever I do a project. Biggest complaint is that there is no case to put them in so it is harder to find them among your tools. Right now I can't find them at all and beginning to think that they may have "accidently" ended up in my sons tool box. Sometimes that happens when we work on projects together but the odd thing is that it usually never happens with my cheapo tools. I will purchase another set. I have notice that the price fluctuates on these quite a bit. Not by a lot but if you put them in your "save for later" cart, you can grab them when the price drops. I took off one star because you really need a case to put these gems in.

DEWALT Nut Drivers ... Works great in a drill, and also with my magnetic pivot for corners & tight places ... Pictures show how easy it is to install before use .... Simple ..... Tools should always be convenient to use, and these are ... Handy sizes for so many projects .... Sturdy, Strong, Durable .... Pleased with the QUALITY .... Recommend .

Dewalt quality, great price and holds the screws in tight when driving with one hand. No issues and would buy again.

Finally used one of the drivers this past weekend. Was removing lag bolts with a lot of old silicone one them, and they still worked really well. Seem to be a good product
