I can't find this locally, so...
... Amazon to the rescue. I am using this item as a gap filler in an automotive application where the black color makes the difference between obvious ugly and stealth gap filling. Worked fine and didn't stick out in my car gaps like the original color formula. Some tips for the fellow Amazonians that need to know... The nozzle pushes on one click, then... you screw it on about a full turn or so. I think a lot of frustration with this product is due to incorrect fastening of the nozzle; no one goes beyond the first click and then complains that the nozzle is flimsy. Once screwed on, it stays on well, and allows for decent control. Clean up on surfaces with spray brake cleaner worked okay. Wear nitrile gloves to avoid wasted time getting this stuff off your hands. Don't get it on your Sunday best; it won't come out. It's rather unbelievable that I can't get this at the local Home Depot, hardware store, and two farm and fleet type stores. This stuff is great and because it's black, even better for some uses.

It's not as easy to get off so just a few things to ...
I've had to insulate our Rubbermaid Shed that we purchased @ Lowes a few weeks ago. Although it was not necessary... I figured if I was going to keep expensive equipment in the shed... I'd want it to be protected from the elements. This did the job perfectly. It has rained a few times since applying this product and there's been no leaks whatsoever. Just a little warning... be careful on how much you apply. It expands a lot so a little goes a long way. Also... wear gloves!!!. If that stuff gets on your hands (like it did with me) It takes forever to get it off. I had to scrub a few days to get the stuff off. You'll also want to be careful of it falling on the floor. It's not as easy to get off so just a few things to keep in mind.

A Durable & Resilient Fix
Really great stuff with many applications. A little tricky to use. Fill gaps, holes, and get stuff to adhere. Spray with a plan, and let it dry. Be patient. Cut the expansion with a saw blade or sharp knife. Its paintable and durable. Get creative. You'll surprise yourself. DO NOT TRY TO WORK THIS STUFF WHILE WET. FUTILE & MESSY. HARD TO CLEAN UP. Let it dry, then trim it into shape.

Satisfied
I was quite excited to stumble upon great stuff in black. I have not seen it available locally and it offered an immediate solution to a small out building/garden shed on our property. I applied it to the gap between the metal roof and cedar siding. You could see where foam had been used years before but the wasps had begun to easily enter last summer. I waited for a milder day this winter and had kept the foam inside the house for optimal results. The product worked, but I am not sure it is as sticky as standard foam. Several โwormsโ dropped to the deck below - which wasnโt an issue for me because it is to be replaced. If you are over something newer, I would probably use a drop cloth or something. It also didnโt expand as much as traditional gaps/cracks foam but that wasnโt a big problem either. The color is more of a shiny charcoal- in my application the over hand hides it but I can see situations where it may have to be touched up with a darker, flatter pain to make it โdisappear.โ Will definitely buy again, hopefully the commercial bottles will be available soon for use with a foam gun.

Works well
Used it as a top layer over silicone sealant patching a busted iron pipe and it held surprisingly well, mightve worked alone just fine. Also used it to repair the cracked bottom of a garbage can and worked fine. Dries semi gloss. Wear gloves, old clothes, and cover floors near use. As much as i tried not to touch anything, it gets around, and may splash depending how handled. Great shade of black, more charcoal grey. Much better than the yellow Great Stuff which is an eyesore, looking like a pukey leak. Will buy again.

If you're prepared, its, a great product!
**UPDATE 8/3/21** The product isnt made for outdoors, especially sun & moisture exposure. I spray painted some parts thinking it would prevent discoloration. It has now faded, crumbled and is useless. I do however believe indoors or outdoor protected areas it would hold up. Sorry, gotta knock off a few stars as product was expensive and didn't work as promised. **Buy more than you need as there's not as much as you think in the can! Have all this ready FIRST. Trust me! +Surgical/disposable gloves - few pairs +Old clothes, cap, shoes +Eye protection +Rags and Wet Wipes +Newspaper +Plastic trash bag +100% PURE ACETONE found in nail polish isle. **100% acetone and a rag is the ONLY thing that removes this from skin. Cover surrounding work areas with newspaper as it will stain/stick. It can get messy as it continues to drip out the nozzle. Wipe and loosely drape a wet wipe around the end. Don't use cloth or paper towels for cleanup as it will stick like crazy. If it gets on gloves, just use a new pair as it will stick to everything. Have your project ready for application, this stuff is a one shot deal. You can't use it, then an hour later use it again. The stuff begins to harden in the nozzle after 20 minutes. No worry as there isn't a whole lot in the can anyway. Maybe a 2-3 cups tops. Shake can vigorously for at least a couple minutes FIRST. If you do this as you're using it, it will get everywhere! It has a tendency to sputter and it isn't consistent in shape so dont expect it to be pretty. It comes out the nozzle like those 4th of July black snakes. It doesn't expand that much - at first. As it cures it expands three times it size. I used it in thin ribbons so it wouldn't blob out so much. There's a learning curve. Don't try to shape or manipulate it when wet. Just fill the area intended, wait until it's cured, then shave/cut it to shape. Product dries to shiny brown color. If used outdoors, you MUST spray paint when cured - as sun fades it to a gross yellowish color. It also degrades if exposed constantly to water and sun. This stuff is like tar in a can and will not come off clothes, carpet, etc. If you're prepared, mess and cleanup will be minimal. Dispose of all your materials in plastic bag and put in garbage as it stays wet and sticky for a while. It worked fine for my needs. As much of a hassle as it is to use, I'm not sure if the company could make it any 'easier' to use - as it's just the nature of the product. I'm still giving it 5 stars as it did what I needed it to do!

Stuff Works
Worked for filling in some larger and smaller gaps around a window boarded up with panels of insulation. This stuff can stack on itself to fill up larger gaps, as well as simply go into 1/4 inch cracks and foam out (no damage caused to the insulation panels).

Excellent. Now, Can I Get it in Medium-Gray? How About Beige?
The big problem with expanding foam is that it looks like you live in a trailer park. That hideous greenish-yellow color, and the general appearance like it came from a low-budget monster movie. Also, the fact that it swells up and drips and sticks to everything before hardening into shiny plastic. This can is black. You can put the foam into places and not have to paint it three times in order to hide the wretched color. Five stars.
