How does this product emit a protective vapor?

The SteelBee uses Zerust vapor tubes that are embedded during manufacturing process with Vapor Corrosion Inhibitors. This molecular thin layer of VCI chemistry protects the metal surfaces from rust, oxidation and corrosion for up to 2 years.

Can you leave it in the shower?

Yes, the shower will not harm the SteelBee or wash away the Zerust vapor. However for best results we recommend shaking the razor free of water and leaving it in a dry place.

Flexible Silicone body allows the Steel Bee to stretch to fit snuggly over all standard men’s and women’s razors holding the Zerust vapor tubes close to the blades protecting your razor from rust, oxidation and corrosion.
