power supply that recommends is a 5amp and to properly use constant white needs a 6amp confusing
I like them alot they rock only thing is the specs and what you would need to work them properly instead of getting me to think I was using the right power supply. More details on the item description would of been more satisfying. I rather know I need to spend more then 18 dollars just to know I'm getting 24v and 6amps alitove makes the supply at 24v 5amps which I got and it's not what is being the full power it trully needs or demands 6amps to run constant white 100% bright. So I can damage them leaving them on at 5 amps. Also the wifi controller is cool but the function that say from middle to both ends or from both start to middle isnt what you think for it still starts at the end but takes way to long to start the step after.

Great LEDs simple easy and fairly bright for 24vdc
connected 3 sets of these for about 100ft and the end is just as bright as the beginning. Great LEDS

24V 10m 600 LED RGB Strip is really inefficient
I do not recommend the 24V strip because it is very inefficient, I think it must be dumping quite a bit of power into the resistors. I was very excited to find a 24V RGB strip and its claim that power does not need to be injected on the far end. However, it is way too inefficient and power DOES need to be injected on the far end. Here are my test results: - Idle current (no LEDs on): 0.621A @ 24V = 14.9W!! The strip gets warm with no LEDs on dissipating all this heat. - All white (R + G + B): 4.58A = 110W - All blue: 2.040A - All green: 2.120A - All red: 2.221A This doesn't make sense because 2.04A + 2.12A + 2.22A > 4.58A, right? The reason is that the voltage drops so much on the strip when R+G+B are all on that the current consumption also decreases. I forgot to write down the voltage at the end of the strip if all LEDs are white, but it was several volts, which is why power injection at the end is necessary. Even with it though, the voltage drop at the middle of the strip is quite high and it runs quite hot. I ended up sending back and opting for (2) 12-V 5m strips instead, with power injection in the middle and both ends. WAY lower idle current taking this route, and better brightness consistency.
