Is this jug vented as described? One customer said his was not vented, so he drilled a hole. I am looking for an unvented jug.

The jug I received did not have a vent hole. I opted to put a vent hole in it because I was pumping a cleaning solution from it and the jug simply collapsed from the negative pressure.

Do you know the size of the threads in the cap?

I don’t know the size but the opening is 21/4 wide. It’s a nice opening.

Is this durable enough to use for muriatic acid (used in swimming pools)?

I would say its worth a try....i put fuels in mine
