If you have a large document or there are a lot of pictures, it may be best to scan to the computer first. The only options that are available on the HP Scanjet Pro N4000 snw1 Sheet-Feed Scanner are scan to email, scan to network, scan to a USB drive, scan to Sharepoint, and scan to a computer. If you have an HP printer, you could set the printer up with HP ePrint. HP ePrint essentially gives your printer an email address. Then, you can email a document, photo, or an email to the printer and it will automatically print. With that in mind, you can set the scanner up to scan to the email address of the printer.
