Taste is okay, package is small, and not returnable. I wish I had noticed the package size since I would not have ordered this otherwise. Since it is not returnable, I opened it and it tasted okay. Looks like jerky, which was a surprise. The pieces were generally close to this size. Pen for scale in photo.

For me personally I Did Not feel that this was yummy product.

I thought this was a very good product. The texture is similar to meat jerkey. I think those who are vegan, vegetarian or trying to cut down on eating meat would enjoy this product. We ordered both the Ginger Teriyaki and the Sweet Barbeque. While I enjoyed both flavors I do prefer the Ginger Teriyaki.

I shared this jerky with my boyfriend--I'm vegetarian, he isn't, but he's supposed to stay away from sugar for dietary reasons. We both loved it! I've been vegetarian for about 14 years, and this confirms to me that meat substitutes have come a long way since then. The texture was fantastic, it has a bit of chew to it but not excessively so, and the teriyaki flavor was fun--it's not overpowering, just adds the right amount of tangy goodness. My boyfriend was pretty skeptical that he would like it as someone who used to eat beef jerky regularly, but he really did. He was sad when we finished the pack!
