I received the product in two days. Good thing, because my son-in-law need to add air to his tires when he and my daughter came to visit when it came time for them to leave. We would have to drive to the gas station and pay for the air. The Air Hawk pressured up the tires in a few minutes and up to the required pressure. I used the auto pressure set on the tool to ensure that all the tires were at the same pressure. I verified the pressure with a air gauge and it was accurate to within .5 lbs. You not need a seperate charger. Just plug the cord into the battery and into an ac outlet. **Q: Can you use it for a Presta bike tire valve if you have an adapter for attaching? Or might it be too powerful causing quick tire overinflation/damage.** A: It works with a Shrader valve (the all time original). I'm guessing with an adapter it should work. That info should be in the description of the product. The pressure can be adjusted which should also be in the product's description. **Q: does it come with charger** A: Yes. The battery comes off just like a standard power tool, but has a port in it for the charger plugin. It says not to overcharge, that is don't leave it connected for days on end. The charger light turns from red to green when charged. Despite the negative comments, it works well on car tires or bicycles for awhile before needing recharge. I don't particularly like the screw on hose connection, as when you unscrew, some air leaks out, but not much - prefer quick disconnect but didn't see an alternative anywhere. The easy portability is the main feature and digital shutoff. **Q: Readout on pressure gauge says err. what do i do next** A: Hold down the middle button for a few seconds, turn off ,turn on and set at desired pressure category. I tested my Air Hawk Max tire inflator and found it be simple to use and works fantastic... Just as described! And the customer service is great. I had a question about the difference between the "Pro" (discontinued) and the "Max" and they responded within the same day. Turns out the "Max" is an upgraded version of the "Pro". They even offered me a return if I wasn't satisfied with the product. I am very satisfied with the "Max" version, and really appreciate the extra length for the air hose. That is a handy improvement!
